Though we've ended up with the same top 3 as the last survivor, last time's WINNER drops out only in third! Rose Tyler was the first companion of the show post-comeback, and she remains one of the most popular both here and in the eyes of the public. Rose was a shop worker who met the Doctor during an Auton invasion, and she made the decision to swap her mundane life for one of excitement and adventure. The Ninth Doctor showed Rose the sun expanding and the destruction of the Earth in the far future, as well as World War II and Charles Dickens in the past. Rose witnessed the Doctor regenerate, before embarking on more adventures with the younger, fresh faced Tenth Doctor. Their spark was clear, but when the Battle of Canary Wharf ended up separating them in two different universes, their adventures were forced to end. A return later didn't change the outcome, though Rose now has a mortal, part-human Doctor that will age and have a human lifespan alongside her. FOR THE FINAL ROUND, PLEASE PICK YOUR FAVOURITE COMPANION! 03. Rose Tyler (15 votes | 44.12%) 04. Amy Pond (9 votes | 34.62%) 05. Sarah Jane Smith (11 votes | 36.67%) 06. Captain Jack Harkness (11 votes | 36.67%) 07. Martha Jones (10 votes | 34.48%) 08. Bill Potts (9 votes | 30.00%) 09. Clara Oswald (8 votes | 36.36%) 10. Jackie Tyler (9 votes | 36.00%) 11. Wilfred Mott (7 votes | 35.00%) 12. Rory Williams (7 votes | 25.00%) 13. Nardole (5 votes | 20.00%) 14. Yasmin Khan (9 votes | 36.00%) 15. Mickey Smith (5 votes | 20.00%) 16. Graham O'Brien (8 votes | 32.00%) 17. Ryan Sinclair (10 votes | 20.41%) 18. Adam Mitchell (15 votes | 30.61%) |

Donna with ease! I don’t think I’ve ever been so vocal about how much I hate a casting and then so emphatically forced to eat my words.
She is everything. She has such a great story arc, has such a fun loving and endearing character and absolutely slayed every scene she was given. My only grumble is that she wasn’t around for longer - but at least that meant her series was perfection. |

I also adore how much love Catherine has for the show even though she has no CLUE what is going on

Well out of these two, definitely Donna. I find her a little overrated in general (I just never got past the fact it was Catherine Tate doing a non-comedic role), but she did have great chemistry with the Doctor and was part of the show at its peak quality-wise.
don't mind me, I'm just bitter that the rightful top 2 are 3rd and 4th xx |

Donna Noble by a mile but both are excellent.
Donna has some of the best one liners in Who history and it elevated her comedic character to a whole new level. |
