A charming slice of countrified rock, the new single from Steve Murray's new musical project Kingbird is a real treat. Taken from the charity/fundraising album 'Audio Book', it's a simple but effective ditty about overcoming difficult times to enjoy life once more.

The imperfect vocal lends a sense of gravitas to proceedings, while the simple lead guitar licks are what give this its country-rock personality. It's all very clean cut, quite old-fashioned sounding, but very well put together and an excellent throwback to old school Americana-pop.
