Magazine Gap: Calling Card EP
Reviewed by Urbanfairy on 2 Dec 2016
Magazine Gap are an independent London trio who seem to turn heads wherever they go. Whether it’s with reviewers online, audiences at their renowned live shows around the world or with the many fans of their debut album, it’s hard to find someone who’s heard their music and doesn’t get into the groove.

Their new EP ‘Calling Card’, released November 25th, was recently heralded with the release of the videofor the title track. And like the other singles before it, it opens with a funk-led rhythm that lets you know you’re in safe hands. From there, the song that unfolds does an excellent job of drawing you into its rolling feel, a trait which is shared by many of the other songs on the EP.
