Midlands’ rock group, The Four Fours, have released new, infectious single ‘Count to Ten’. This track has an anthemic quality making it great to sing, or rather shout the lyrics. The lead vocalist delivers the lyrics brilliantly for the rock genre because of his slightly gritty, coarse voice. In regards to the composition, the instruments are tight and play perfect rock rhythms. This group have certainly nailed the genre and any young rockers out there should give this single a listen.
The accompanying video is brilliantly bonkers with the musicians wearing baboon masks to disguise their faces giving an air of mystery and allows the audience to escape in the music. Should they release more videos in the future, however, I’d love to see the guy’s faces to get a better image of the group themselves and see their personalities shine through.
