The latest single from raw, fiery indie group The Novatones, 'Daddy Didn't Know' is a real zinger taken from their latest EP 'Sunday Romance'.

The song revolves around the narrative of a good girl gone bad, who suffers an ignominious fate while her father remains ignorant. It makes for a salty tale, and one which serves the immediate, rocky sound well.

Edgy is an overused word in today's music circle, but putting together this subject matter with the jarring indie rock styles of this particular track certainly could be classed in that category. It might just be the standout song from the EP as a whole (available now), which makes it a great choice for the new single.
