Stash Peso: Glow (from the 'Shine' EP)
Reviewed by Urbanfairy on 31 May 2017
A London rapper who is busy building himself a dedicated fanbase in our nation's capital, Stash Peso is doing so by making his sound unique. Dripping with atmosphere, his last single 'Glow' is a prime example of why that is.

If you check out the video here, you'll find an artist willing to take risk in a genre that is too often created from cookie cutter artists. His use of low key beats and straightforward delivery to tell his stories marks him out from many of his contemporaries, while a his lyrics reflect on his own life and experiences without falling into cliché.

In a strange way, his biographical contact could in other hands have made him into a folk artist, telling tall tales people can relate to. As it is, he's an urban act who deserves your attention - which is why his new 'Shine' EP is one to watch.
