A magical (and perhaps majestic) album of synth-heavy tunesOne of the units of the D4DJ franchise, Lyrical Lily, receives a collection of cool, accessible book-based songs (the song titles, at least, refer to book titles such as The Catcher In The Rye, I Am A Cat and Yume Jūya). From
Petit Prince to
I Shall Be a Cat, the songs burst with lively synth melodies and rhythms, subtly bouncy beats and joyful vibes.
If there are flaws to address, it is that the vocal arrangements and where they sit with the music are off at times, especially in
Petit Prince's chorus and
Ten Nights' Dreams, with the background vocals somewhat clashing or blending poorly with the front vocals.
