Daisy Dares You: Number One Enemy
Reviewed by JamesP on 13 January 2010
Sixteen year old and BBC Sound of 2010 nominee Daisy Coburn, stage name Daisy Dares You, releases her debut single 'Number One Enemy' featuring rap artist Chipmunk on February 22nd.

We first heard from Daisy Dares You back in 2009 with her debut track 'Daisy Dares You', which frankly, had nothing on this brilliant upbeat pop track.

The track is strong and melodic from the beginning with the opening riff, and as Daisy kicks in her vocals have a great 'teenage tone' but she offers a strong and very unique voice necessary to bring to the 2010 scene of pop music. The strong chorus is heavy and and memorable as Daisy sings 'Stop, I'm not your number one Enemy!' The contribution of young rap star Chipmunk on the track only highlights Daisy's place in the modern music scene. With good airplay, this song could easily do good things for Daisy in the new music scene.

''Munk', as he refers to himself in the track, sings 'Take off, Daisy's 'bout to take off' on his part and judging by this song it looks like she is bound to do just that in 2010.

9/10
