Plan B: Stay Too Long
Reviewed by thisispop on 10 January 2010
London based English rapper, singer and actor (he was brilliant in a supporting role in Noel Clarke's Adulthood) Ben Drew looks to back up the UK Top 10 success of his collaboration with Chase & Status "End Credits" with this equally strong effort and first release from his second album The Defamation of Strickland Banks (scheduled release date March 22nd).

Interestingly the album is followed with a promo movie of the same name where the film tells the story of a soul singer Strickland Banks who is wrongly imprisoned for a crime he did not commit.

This track has already received strong Radio & Video airplay which is unsurprising as this track has a very strong and soulful melody and catchy raps over the top of some urgent and catchy beats.

In short it sounds perfect for a soundtrack for a Guy Ritchie movie featuring Vinnie Jones; Danny Dyer & Jason Statham.

Rating: 8/10
