New band on the scene, The Mcooleys, have recently released their EP ‘Empty Blue Skies’ in the UK! The old school rock trio with a twist are British Born, but currently based in Mallorca, where they have built up a local reputation by gigging all over the island. One of the songs from the EP, ‘What Happened Tonight’ is symbol smashing, guitar thrashing goodness! Complimenting the deeper tones of the song, front man Adam Booley’s signature vocals are influenced by rock music of the 60s and 70s. This single, being a solemn and slow tune, compares quite differently to other songs on the EP, such as ‘Blond Hair’, a more upbeat song, however they’ve made it work! The Mcooleys have shown their variety with this EP and they are definitely a band to keep an eye on, go on check them out.
