First midweeks show that Jedward are just behind Owl City's Fireflies, the current UK #1 single.

The Irish twins debut track Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) featuring Vanilla Ice, which was premiered at this years National Television Awards, has so far failed to knock Owl City from the top spot on iTunes.

Midweek data today reveals that the X Factor stars are only 24 copies behind Fireflies which is aiming to make it three weeks on top.

Current figures show the two songs on 24,129 and 24,105 respectively.

Timbaland's If We Ever Meet Again which features Katy Perry, climbs 11 spots and rests just behind 3OH!3 which also has guest vocals from 25-year-old.

A new entry from Marina and the Diamonds rounds off the top 10.

If Jedward do hit #1 this week it is likely to be a short stay on top as Simon Cowell's Helping Haiti track, Everbody Hurts is released next Sunday [7th].
