About This Club

The legendary, Miss Britney Spears!
  1. What's new in this club
  2. I hope her geo-restricted songs will be available on DSPs as soon as possible if it's taken into consideration that Britney isn't going to release anything new nowadays (or soon) to be honest. However, this is RCA I'm talking about, so... 🤷🏽‍♂️
  3. The In Ten Pictures doc was really good. Some of the in depth discussions about those pivotal moments in Britney's life were really interesting. I had no idea about the whole GQ photoshop scandal
  4. The ‘In Ten Pictures’ show is already streaming on BBC IPlayer if people can’t wait til tomorrow night! It’s a decent watch and actually quite emotional to relive some of those now infamous moments!
  5. BBC Two from 9pm on 11th June is a documentary called 'A Life in Ten Pictures'. At 10pm is a repeat of Britney at the BBC.
  6. I think he just used a lot of face tune before posting
  7. I hate to be the one to say this but I just don’t really trust ANY post or video I see of her anymore, and haven’t done for quite some time. I’m just so way past the point of believing anything in regards to her. In that photo above she looks great, and more importantly, her teeth look perfect. But half the time these days she seems to have a gap between them!! So what is the truth?!
  8. Chris posted: As a kid growing up in England, Britney Spears was the soundtrack to so many moments. Never in a million years did I think I'd one day be standing behind the chair (or in this case her standing behind mine, lol) styling her hair. Some moments really do come full circle. She is not only an icon, but one of the most genuinely kind and gentle souls I've ever met.
  9. I think 'Toxic' was just released in a time where sales were starting to fall massively and impacted by people downloading through the likes of Limewire and Kazaa etc.. Before the streaming era (maybe even download era?) iirc 'Toxic' was only on around 400k-500k sales total?
  10. Relistened to this album. I still don’t think it’s “terrible” it’s just tainted by not beibg a Britney album ‘Now That I Found You’ is still THAT BITCH for me. It’s so damn good! Iirc that’s one of the ones that is mostly her too so I feel validated in saying it’s been my fave lol.
  11. BOMT has overtaken Toxic as her most streamed track on Spotify yesterday!
  12. Wasn't sure where to post this as no worldwide chart / sales thread here so went for this thread, hope that's ok? I have a friend who has access to some worldwide sales data and they give me some information on Spice Girls sales. I've been trying to wheedle more info about them and of some of my fave artists. I was able to get some information about Madonna, Cher, Kylie and Britney. Anyway these are supposed to be the positions / sales of Britney on the biggest selling physical singles of all time worldwide. Note this doesn't include any downloads or streaming sales: 1. Baby one more time (#32) – [5,330,000] 2. Oops I did it again (#521) – [1,500,000] 3. Crazy (#591) – [1,390,000] 4. Stronger (#703) – [1,240,000] 5. Sometimes (#792) – [1,120,000] 6. Born to make you happy (#886) – [1,030,000] Sad that she drops off after Oops era but then physical sales were dire overall so not surprising. Did think Toxic might have been on over 1 million physicals, were downloads a thing by that point?
  13. I'd guess incredibly busy time of year around December 2009, that week was pretty stacked (Rihanna's Rated R debuted at #16 for instance), and maybe not that much demand for another Greatest Hits 5 years after a huge selling one. Although all the streams are now attributed to this rather than GH: My Prerogative.
  14. I think it will but just not sure when! I hope it can do it before the release of her movie biopic (whenever that will be released).
  15. Britney Spears has taken a plea deal, which sees her pleading guilty to a wet reckless, in her DUI case. Spears, 44, was sentenced to 12 months probation and one day in jail, credited as time served, by Ventura County Commissioner Matthew Nemerson. She was fined $571.00 and must see a psychologist once a week and a psychiatrist twice a month. Her vehicle is authorized to be searched for drugs and alcohol. "Through her plea today, Britney has accepted responsibility for her conduct. She has taken significant steps to implement positive change which is clearly reflected in the Ventura County District Attorney’s decision to reduce the charge in this case and dismiss the DUI," Goldstein said in a statement following the arraignment. "Britney appreciates this discretion and is also grateful for the outpouring of support she has received."
  16. The pop star was spotted Thursday being chauffeured around Westlake Village and Calabasas the day after finishing her rehab stint. We're told Britney is doing well after spending 3 weeks in rehab ... and she's happy, healthy, centered and, perhaps most importantly, clean and sober. source: TMZ
  17. Britney Spears has the chance to avoid jail time in her DUI case, according to officials. DUI prosecutors in the Ventura County District Attorney’s office filed a misdemeanor count against the pop star, 44, on Thursday, April 30, just days before she’s set to be arraigned. Officials said that Spears will likely be offered what is known as a “wet reckless,” as she does not have a prior DUI history, there was no crash or injury in her arrest, and she had a low blood alcohol level. Per standard protocol, a wet reckless allows a person to plead guilty to reckless driving involving alcohol and/or drugs and be put on probation for 12 months while receiving credit for any time spent in custody. The person is required to complete a DUI class and must pay state-mandated fines and fees. Officials said such a resolution is “common,” especially when the defendant “demonstrates self-motivation to address underlying issues through rehabilitation or a drug and alcohol treatment program.” Spears will be arraigned in court on May 4, though officials said that because it is a misdemeanor charge, she is not required to attend, and can have her attorney appear for her. 18. "The Singles Collection" has done roughly 43k this year so far, with roughly 760k overall units. Will end the year on roughly 845k-850k if it continues to sell the way it's doing now. 3x Platinum certification in 2027.
  19. It'll probably will get a new peak at some point in the future. The question is - when?
  20. Down to #57 this week
  21. Hopefully that she makes an full recovery and the media leave her alone.
  22. Really hope it helps ❤️
  23. I hope she recovers quickly and that it will truly be beneficial for her.
  24. ALL her sangs?! But she is right. Toxic, like Maneater from the same year, are timeless hits. Btitney in ITZ was a phenomenon!! Shame she had the accident on Outrageous, qhich her label waa FORCING her to release, so shw could thwn release Touc aof amy Hand :( I's honestly have done Breathe on Me Toxic of course Everytime (though not my fave) Touch of My Hand Shadow Eaely Mornin', if she wants a risky laat single THen!!! Release Me Against The Music as the first single off the GH, followed by My Prerogative, releasing that witht he album, and following it up with a ballad. She had And Then We Kiss ready... maybe that instead of a ballad
  25. On "Toxic": "You're very silly and giggly and fun and I need to hear 'Toxic' at the end of every single night when I'm feeling like that. It's one of my favorite songs," she gushed. "I think it's one of the greatest pop songs ever made. It makes me feel nostalgic, but also at the same time, if it came out yesterday, it would be an absolute smash. I love it so much." Dua recalled the "Toxic" music video, which saw Britney dressed as a flight attendant. "The bit that stays in my mind that I remember so well is Britney in a stewardess outfit, and I don't think anyone has been able to make a stewardess outfit look so good," she added.
