Some sad news was announced yesterday. Rihanna’s father has passed away. Hoping that Rihanna and her family are doing well under the circumstances and sending thoughts to her.

18 years ago today since the original version of the album was released to the world!! What a time it was! STILL charting consistently in the UK too currently at #67 and 276 weeks on the chart! Can easily see it getting to 300 weeks by the end of the calendar year.

For me Phresh Out The Runway is my personal least favourite thing she’s ever done! Horrible opener to what’s actually one of her better albums. This is more beige than it is bad per se. It’s definitely just been cobbled together though.

I'm really not a Rihanna fan (apart from We Found Love, Only Girl and Umbrella) so finding it oddly hilarious to read how almost unanimously Friend of Mine is hated. The comment that was shared about it being even worse than "Woman's World" is very funny. Though not sure it's true!

This is no 'Friend of Mine' at all, probably the worst song that Rihanna had done. An anticipated new song we were expecting fireworks instead the end of the result was about as welcome as an fart in a lift.
