I feel like we may get some music this year but my gut is telling me the album isn’t coming this year. I do for some reason feel like another Breakin Dishes esque album track from the past will have a moment though (prays it’s Complicated!!)

Really hope we get a new one this year, 10 years is a big enough gap!

Album is at #62 in the UK this week a climb!! 211 weeks top 75 | 306 weeks top 100! Such a consistent album within the charts now ❣️!! Intrigued to see how it fares in 2026 but it’s had an incredible 2025 on the charts!

Was the other Rihanna UK charts & sales thread deleted? It had some official sales for albums & singles that hadn't reach a new Certification. You have Talk that Talk as being only 1 million sales, but in the old thread someone posted official sales from music week with around 1,077,000 sales in 2019. Seeing that ANTI has become the first album by a black woman to get 500 weeks on the Billboard charts!! Record breaking smash ❣️. The success this era had in the US was insane.

Wow!! I always kinda forget about this one when I think about Rihanna smashes it definitely doesn’t feel like her top 3 biggest hit! But that’s a huge stat and it is a smash too. I always love it when I hear it 😁

"This Is What You Came For" is now certified 5x Platinum in the UK, marking Rihanna's third song to achieve 3m+ units!

Climbs to #48 this week too. I hope we can get it back top 40 again at some point it’s not that far off and the streams are so good week on week.

This is still my favourite Rihanna album as well. Good Girl Gone Bad has closed the gap in second place though.

Bit of a week this week in Rihanna history. Loud turned 15 on the 12th Talk That Talk turned 14 on the 18th. Unapologetic turned 13 on the 19th. And today (20th) Rated R has turned 16! This week was always such a good time to stan Rihanna back in the day! Many streaming parties over the weekend for me as I try and hear all of these in full again!
