October 14, 200915 yr Oh I really hope Changes has won an award tonight, but I thought the Let It Go video would have stood out more.
October 14, 200915 yr Attitude Fantastic new Will Young single cover and video Posted at 2:08 PM on Tuesday, We love us some Will Young at Attitude Towers and were well excited to see the lead video from his upcoming greatest hits, The Hits, released. For the track Hopes & Fears, Will pulled out all the stops on the video which follows him through pregnancy. It has to be seen to be believed, really. A daring video for a beautiful track. We’re also quite struck by the single cover. Watch the video below and tell us if you love it as much as we do. http://www.attitude.co.uk/printer/printblog.aspx?blogid=1918 Promo news Will Young’s Hopes And Fears by Chris Sweeney October 14, 2009 – 10:00 am by Jimmy B Subject to a news piece and causing quite a stir in Heat magazine last week, this Chris Sweeney-directed promo for the brand new Will Young track Hope And Fears sees the singer going through a pregnancy and all that entails. We witness the singer stuffing his face with strange food, doing yoga, having sleepless nights etc – but stops short of the actual birth. Introspective and creatively translating the lyric, the single is one of the new cuts on Young’s forthcoming Greatest Hits set. Will Young Hopes and Fears (Sony Music) Director: Chris Sweeney Producer: Tamsin Glasson Production Company: Colonel Blimp DOP: Tom Townend Art Dept: Ben Ansell Stylist: Susan Hildebrandt Groomer: Paul Percival Choreographer: Claire Missingham Editor: Darren Baldwin at Final Cut Post Production: Gary and Chris at Munky Commissioner: Mike O’Keefe Watch: here

October 14, 200915 yr I just hope it's added next week [LIG was added 2 weeks before release] Hope so. There's others not on there released the same week. I'm also hoping the radio stations Will is visiting will start playing the single once the interviews go out. What's happened to Smooth this time round? They were great supporters of Will's LIG releases.

October 20, 200915 yr Author Thanks sunday. That's great news. Just noticed this posted by Gillwill :P over on the O/S: Did anyone see Neill McCormick on the itv news. Just caught the end but he was talking about the current music industry & saying it can be split into two, artists tring to get airplay for their music & Simon Cowell related acts ( or something along those lines) He didn't sound very happy about how the charts are manipulated, they showed a clip of Cheryl & said if you want to know who'll be doing well in the charts the following week just watch X Factor. Didn't anyone see it all. A deplorable situation. The commercials just play what's in the upper reaches of the singles chart and, as he says, manipulates the upper reaches of the singles chart. Manipulation has always gone on but they don't even bother to hide what they are doing now. Edited October 20, 200915 yr by munchkin

Just look at the positions of radio stations favourites The Saturdays & Taio Cruz in this just their second week in the album charts. They'll both be lucky to have sold 20k total come the weekend. As I've said before the labels must be tearing their hair out. Music has become so ageist. :arrr:
