I was out. Socialising. Having Xmas dinners No 3 and 4. -_-

I've got the new GM dvd as well. Haven't watched it yet.

Anyway, now my Sky has gone on the blink. It's been saying 'No Satellite signal being received' for the past 4 hours. I suspect my dish is covered in the white stuff.

All is not lost. My friends from along the street are heading up in 10 minutes. Bearing gifts.

***Excuse for drinkie poos *** :yahoo:

I'll be back around 9.30/10 ish ^_^

White stuff? You mean Psycho Kitty er borrowed the icing sugar and climbed up and spilled it onto the dish? :teresa:

Hope you had a good time at the Christmas dinners Jups.

Has anyone seen Avatar yet? Saw it last night and I have to admit it is bloody spectacular. And I usually hate those OTT blockbuster films as the storylines are usually appauling, and no effort is put into charachters but that deffo wasnt the case here. The effects are beyond amazing as you would expect from the most expensive film ever, but the storyline is really good, and there are many great chacters. Great to end the decade with such an amazing film.

I cannot wait to see this...looks fab !!!! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Avatar-DVD-Sam-Wor...0190&sr=1-1

I think they took some special effect ideas from Gorillaz music videos.... ^_^

Hello. I'm back :cheer:

I think it's finally stopped snowing

I'm reading my new book

The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Are you enjoying it?

I thought it was very dark. And a bit confusing.

It was melting a bit earlier. I have to walk to the bus stop tomorrow, think the trains will be problematic to put it mildly.

Hello Sparkle and Flatty :cheer:

All this snow must be a bit of a shock to your system

evening :cheer:

and yep :( it's just so good to see the UK coping so well with the snow

OH left for work at 6.30 this evening, normally a 45 minute drive, he's stuck on the

motorway still with about 9 miles to go

I have seen a lot of snow since the family came back to the UK in 1991. I would like to see a lot less of it. <_<

Hello Sparkle. :cheer:

It's ridiculous isn't it? My cousin and her husband spent 4 hours sitting on the motorway on Sunday night due to a jackknifed lorry.

Wonder how all the other countries cope?

Back to the UK Flatty? Where were you all living previously?

Before I was born, the parents moved to Bermuda. They lived there for 20 years until owing to Bermudian employment law (at the time, it may have changed since), they had to return to the UK.

Oh dear. You could have been sunning yourself on a beach instead of fighting through snow

Not sure whether I have forgiven them for this move or not.

Bermuda's not such a nice place as it used to be Sparkle. :( Looking at the Bermudian newspaper online, I am glad we moved away. Only wish it was somewhere warmer than here.

Really? I thought Bermuda was an upmarket, posh, genteel place in the sun.

well, they do have the Bermuda triangle I guess

I'm off now, night everyone

It's changed a lot since we were there back in 1991. :(

Anyway, I have to get energy recharged for walking to the bus tomorrow.

Good night.
