Posted September 20, 200915 yr http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm76/blissfulignorance_2008/bullboard.jpg Hi everyone, here's the brand new Sunday Bullboard chart! If you want to know more about this chart, go here. Gold and Platinum awards are now awarded when songs reach 20 and 30 weeks on the chart respectively. Dropping out this week: Lily ALLEN 22 (Peak: 7, Wks: 7) BIFFY CLYRO That Golden Rule (Peak: 18, Wks: 4) JAMIE T Chaka Demus (Peak: 38, Wks: 2) JEREMIH Birthday Sex (Peak: 18, Wks: 5) James MORRISON Feat. Nelly FURTADO Broken Strings (Peak: 2, Wks: 33) BULLBOARD PLATINUM Jason MRAZ I'm Yours (Peak: 15, Wks: 30) BULLBOARD PLATINUM NOISETTES, The Wild Young Hearts (Peak: 25, Wks: 5) U2 I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (Peak: 17, Wks: 4) Pete YORN & Scarlett JOHANSSON Relator (Peak: 50, Wks: 1) So we've lost a number of Bullboard smash hits like Lily Allen and James Morrison who did even beter here than on sales. But we also had some that were the other way round like Jason Mraz who never matched his sales peak, and Jeremih ditto. Then again, there's Noisettes, Pete Yorn and (practically) U2 that did nothing on sales. But this is all good news - cos it means that we've got an amazingnine chart entries this week - and they're all brand new :cheer: It's all go in the all new Bullboard Chart! In fact it has an equal number of points as Madonna this week, but as Guetta is ahead on sales, we've broken the ties this way. Madge makes an impressive 18 place climb to number 2, but the highest climber is in fact Michael Bublé, who climbs 19 spots to 29. Taio Cruz suffers for airplay, and Break Your Heart, the sales number one, limps in at number 7. Shakira also suffers from low airplay, and climbs a measly 6 to number 12. There are also big climbers from Paloma Faith upto 15, Lady Gaga with Lovegame, upto 19, and Alexandra Burke upto 28. So who will be number one next week? Could Taio pick up on airplay? Could Madge push upto number 1? Shakira should get a sales boost, but what about airplay? Or could sales challengers Basshunter or Jade Ewen come out of nowhere? Only time will tell! Hope you enjoyed the chart. PLEASE leave any comments or feedback. I'll be producing the chart of the year so far soon, and a number ones history will be available ASAP, but I seem to have lost some older charts and because of BJSC there will be further delays :( Thanks! :D
