October 17, 200915 yr Author I love from all songs Gary wrote for other that parody song for Peter Kay. I don't hear it too much as after that i have one day long only "over and over and over again" I love the Geraldine songs! The Winner's Song is far, far superior to the song he's just written for Alesha. I think Gary & Peter should go into partnership - I think Peter's lyrics are great. Norma
October 17, 200915 yr So, now Mirror (who else?) relaunched the story of TT and Robbie together at CIN. I think they will print the story till it happen to tell at the end "we were the fisrt to tell you that". But now the gig has already so many big big names , i don't see the point of reunion. This time might happen then
October 17, 200915 yr To be honest ... I'd be very disappointed if artists performed new stuff. Norma Well, Cheryl Cole has to sing her new song - she has no other  . Robbie is also rumored to sing Bodies (somehow i don't think the lyrics are going well with CIN, but that is beside the point).
October 17, 200915 yr Ya Cheryl has no choice and i cant see robbie doing anything but bodies either, but i dont think cin is like the brit awards where u cant perform something brand new.

He said he would but I don't think he will now. You've got a point with Cheryl - she'll have to sing her new one or do a duet with another act and do something. Norma

Pete I don't mean that they're not allowed to sing something new - what I mean is ... I don't think its right that they do (unless they have no option - like Cheryl) To me it is a shameless way of plugging a song 'all in the name of charity'. Norma
October 17, 200915 yr I see what ur saying but sometimes bt oerforming something new is what viewers want and some people may tune in specifiaclly to see an artist perform a new song, dont get me wrong i see ur point but if the artist agrees to take part and manages to raise alot of money it still is a good cause.
October 17, 200915 yr Author I think the kind of audience 'as a whole' watching this kind of thing will want to hear 'familiar' songs. I know I will - I want to hear something that I can sing along to ... not be a 'crash-test dummy' sort of song. Norma
October 17, 200915 yr yes i like them to perform songs i like so i can enjoy it and if they do a new song that i dont like i do feel let down.
November 9, 200915 yr Author OK then ... the concert is this week. Gary said all artists would perform two songs ... plus there would be one or two 'duets'. Who do you want them to do their duet with (from the line-up). My first choice is .... Lily Allen - doing either 'Who'd Have Known' or 'Shine'. In fact ... that's the only collaboration I want from the line-up ... I'd be happy with that! Norma

November 9, 200915 yr Author OOOoooooo, i would love Lily and Take That for a strange mix of Shine - Who'd have known :cheer: Wouldn't it be good. I'd actually want them to do Shine ... but Lily's version of it. Her on lead and the boys backing her up. I think they'd look fabulous together! Norma

Norma Cheryl Cole 'to perform with Snow Patrol' Wednesday, November 11 2009, 13:05 GMT Digitalspy.com By David Balls, Music Reporter Cheryl Cole will team up with Snow Patrol to perform at the Children In Need charity event in London tomorrow night. The Girls Aloud star is expected to duet with singer Gary Lightbody on Snow Patrol's hit 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar' at the Royal Albert Hall in London. "Everyone doing the gig has to duet with someone. It was like getting a partner at school, and we got the prettiest girl in the class," Lightbody told Spinner. The female vocal on the track was originally recorded by folk singer Martha Wainwright, but Lightbody insisted that he is excited about performing it with Cole. "People have raised an eyebrow now and again when we've mentioned we're doing it with Cheryl Cole but I think it's going to be a really interesting experience," he added. "She said, 'What song do you want to do?' and we said that, and she went away and listened to it. She got back straight away and said, 'Yeah, I'm up for it'. Hats off to her." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You've got to love Snow Patrol getting the worst singer out of Snow Patrol to duet with them on a song they originally recorded with a brilliant female singer who has just released an album of Edith Piaf covers. Talk about car crash time? :rofl Here is the superb original: NPKDfBdxkMM
November 19, 200915 yr Author Gary talking on BBC Breakfast Time about the show - the whole thing is on Youtube somewhere. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8368475.stm Unfortunately Iris ... he does say something is 'in the pipeline' with them and Rob. Norma

November 20, 200915 yr I really thought take that were brilliant tonight, they definitly sang live and were in top form, and it was nice seeing them on stage with robbie even if it was only for a few seconds, is it jusy me or did anyone else think robbie looked very old tonight, his hair didnt help him at all, i just thought he aged 10 years in a few weeks.
