id love if they released the duet.

Just watched that bit again on my dvd recording ... and the Paulo Nutini bit (I love that bit ... I know I'm the only one ... but me and Lou thought it was one of the best bits of the night. We must be weird!)

Had to have a sneaky watch/listen to RTW again though! Gotta say ... Take That are definitely in better voice than Rob. I think Rob should consider giving up the ciggies! He may have a better voice for it ... 'cause at the moment ... he's living off his 'cheeky chappie' personality rather than his vocal abilities.

I never felt robbie had a great singing voice myself, but the ciggies def havnt helped and he is supposidly a very heavy smoker. I love Paolo Nutini;s performance aswell and like you norma i thought i was the only one who liked it. Vocally take that were on top form and delivered great performances.

I just loved the lily and take that duet/collaboration and i think it could do very well as single.

They really are in brilliant voice at the moment - all of them. Jason really surprised me in the Abbey Road DVD. He sounded great and Marks voice is getting stronger and stronger. I have always loved Howards voice - maybe because I love Never Forget so much! Gary - well it goes without saying that he's a great singer but I think that even he has improved.

I really like the song that Gary wrote for Shirley Bassey. I think that it's the best song that he has written for someone else.

shirley and garay were brilliant together, i agree about the boys voices and i definitly agree about howards voice, i think he has a great voice and i would love them to do another single with howard on lead as never forget is magical especially live, and i love howaards live vocal in rule the world.
I was only thinking today that Howard hasn't had a lead vocal since the comeback as I was watching the abbey road recording. I have liked his songs on the last two albums but they weren't single quality. Fingers crossed for the next album so.

I think I was one of the lucky ones who got to hear him sing Mancunian Way at the penultimate night of the Beautiful World Tour (the night when Bev Knight joined them on the B stage ... so was especially lucky). I think Howard has a lovely voice ... a bit tentative and self-conscious ... but that's what I like about them .... they all bring something different to the table. Gary undoubtedly has the best voice (range, tone, alll round), but Mark brings that bit of 'angst' and passion that is needed ... Howard brings vulnerability and Jason just brings ... if I'm honest ... one of the simplest, most pure, folky and ... honest ... qualities to Take That. Why the helll they think they need Rob to complete the picture foxes me. There is absolutely NOTHING that Robbie Williams could add to Take That that would make them better. Its true that they'll never be anything other than a UK / Ireland phenomenon ... but I like it like that. For me ... being big in Germany is like being ... big in Lilliput!

LOL, big in Lilliput? Believe me, as long he has as UK artist the power in Germany he will have it in the whole continental Europe! He would bring to TT exactly what they miss to be big in Europe: those bad boy image, controversy. Honest, if you are too nice, you will have none magazine interest and you are non-existent as UK act in Germany. Amy became big when she had the addiction, not before...

But musical is right, i don't think that what Robbie would add i would like, as i am not keen on his solo music. But who can know? Only that i will hate to see TT as Robbie & Gary and the rest, if you know what i mean.I would like to hear a Mark style song with Robbie on vocals (not a Gary one, as only Gary has the voice for his style)

As for Howard: i like his voice, but i think he get on every album one of the worse and one of the best song and he choose every time to sing live the worse. So i am not soo keen to hear a single like Beautiful World or like What is love <_< .

Hope I didn't offend with the Lilliput thing!

If having a bad boy image is the only card Rob can bring to the table to make them big in Europe ... I'd rather they were just a blip on the map outside the UK. Besides ... if you have a bad boy reputation ... then surely there should be some substance in that area to back it up. I'm sure if Rob was in a fist-fight with a jelly he'd come off worse!

Anyway ... there's a difference in doing stuff together and actually releasing anything.

Aflie ... I edited my quote within your answer ... I've just noticed I have a habit of putting extra 'l's in things!

I watched some highlights last night again ... I have got to go and see Paolo Nutini some time ... he's won me over with just that one song. He's like a pop Rab C!

I have to admit I didn't watch his performance all the way through. Maybe I should give it a chance. I didn't have a problem with the song as such - it was the weird way that he was bent over as if he had done his back in  . Apart from TT the performance that stood out for me was Shirley Bassey. I absolutely LOVE that song.
