Go Echo! Certainly not disastrous. :)

In most places it is if I'm being honest...UK, Ireland & Switzerland are the only countries where the album is doing alright! I expected a lot more...Shame, as I really enjoy the album atm! Hopefully the next single (and some promo) will get the album back on track.

76,724 sold this week, bringing the total to 548,594 copies sold in the UK! :D
It's apparently 548,569 so far, not much different, still brilliant! :D

*Updates*

I hope so..! It will depend on how the next singles will do! Currently the album is #40 in midweeks, wich isn't great.

Hopefully Echo can make 1m in the UK by the end of 2010 :cheer:

Would love it to, but I can't see it happening. Not without an absolutely huge rerelease.

I meant to post a while ago but Music Week published a list of the top 10 albums from UK acts in 2009 (ranked by sales outwith the UK) and Leona was 10th with 0.8m (781,000) sales.

Top 10 list published in MW:-

1. SuBo 6.0m

2. U2 2.9m

3. Muse 1.4m

4. Robbie 1.3m

5. Depeche Mode 1.1m

6. Lily Allen 1.0m

7. Enya 0.9m

8. Mika 0.8m

9. Cast of Mamma Mia! 0.8m

10. Leona 0.8m

So by end of 2009, Leona had sold 1.346 million copies of Echo in total (565,000 UK sales; 781,000 non-UK sales).

Extrapolating forward based on known UK sales to 7 February 2010 (583,395), and using the same ratio of UK/WW sales as at the year end, I make that about 1.390 million sales of Echo to date.

1,390,000 copies is good! Some people were saying she hadn't even reached 1million! ^_^
