No as usual it was the text I edited.

 

But I'm not saying I didn't change my mind many times before I finally awarded my points. I divided them into categories and then started eliminating slowly. It took me days to get down to the final ten.

 

I was wondering if we should choose a shortlist of 12 and then re-vote rather than just going with the top 6, should the scores be very close.

If there was a tie for the fith and final photo, then we could have a separate vote to decide between them, but I think it best to stick with the original format of the vote, as we could go on changing our mind or adding new pics etc forever :rolleyes:

Is there anything about the number of pics the Arts and Graphics forum should be given to work with?

 

Just wondering because I noticed the mod of the WY forum has sent them loads of pictures to choose from.

There are normally 4 or 5 pics to choose from...and usually we're told to use up to 4 of those pics for the banner we make.

 

The Will Young selection is the most I've EVER seen!!!! :blink:

Perhaps this has something to do with it - quote we can't let Will down, he deserves to have a gorgeous banner on his forum on buzzjack.the Darius fans have been working on theres for weeks.

We have some lovely banners already.....I don't mind anyone doing another one if they enjoy making them, but I really think we are doing great........lets not wage war.....

As far as I am aware, there is no limit to how many pics you can send through to them Baytree. This thread was purely a way for our members to choose the pics that they wanted to see in the banner competition. I thought a sensible amount of our favourites chosen by our members, would be the best option.

 

There is no reason we cannot continue to come up with and use our own banners, even after the competition has been held. That way, the point raised regarding some of these lovely new pics of D outside the Cambridge Theatre could be addressed, by some of them being incorporated into a new banner from one of us :)

I love seeing all the different banners and one of the things I enjoy most about the banner competition in the Arts and Graphics forum is seeing how completely different the banners can be and how their creators have used the same pictures so innovatively.

lets hope we get some! I have no idea at present, cannot get any inspiration for how to put th epics on..my program is a bit lacking I suspect too

I am a little confused, as the closing date for votes is today :wacko: Also I thought the idea was to pick the group's favourite 5 pics for the banner, not 10 :wacko:

sorry, BP - I was pm'd and asked to submit the pics for the competition so as no new votes had been posted for a while we went ahead and totted up

as you can submit as many as you wish it seems(well more or less - can you imagine the selection we could have sent)I thought we may as well submit ten rather than just five.
