Its Been Nearly a year since their last proper single and it's the first time since they got together back in 2004 that they have been away for so long.

They have been doing a sell-out European Tour and many other things.

 

Anyway they have been working on their New album for the best part of a Year and they have confirmed the first single early next year,Album(Step up from their last album Radio:ACTIVE) in the summer,Tour november time

 

Mcfly have won the award for Live Coverage at the Uk Music Video Awards for their Radio:ACTIVE Live at Wembley DVD

Can't wait for their new material!!! I heard Europe tour went great! Sad they went to few countries, they could've gone to much more. Hopefully they will go next year!

 

And I like the way they're doing everything differently with their own label. They stepped back from their usual shedule this time, So hopefully it'll bring them more benefits in all meanings of this word ^_^

Well they did Tour Japan,Aus and Brazil earlier this year too

Yes with their Record label they were hardly ever allowed togo to other places so it's nice for them to have sell out tours in other parts of the world.

 

They have worked hard on this new material.

 

yes the Europe Tour sold out and so did the Japan/Aus/Brazil Tour earlier this year and ithink they were kind of surprised about it.

 

good on them for sticking with it i say!

The New Album should be out by the Summer with the first Single Out Early next year.

Ahh I wish they would release it earlier then in summer, really! I just physically CAN"T wait!! xD Or they could do some touring before they release the album ^_^ That would be great. Of course, I can't hope for the Eastern Europe Tour this year as they've been out of The UK for too long. I just hope to hear their new material in the UK Tour! Ahh... From all that I know of their work, it's gonna be immense!

I don't really get why they've been writing with Taio Cruz for the new album, seems a very strange collaboration :-s
