I was joking, i'd not enter it unless of course it will still be as brilliant after weeks as Snälla Snälla was by the time i entered her. <3

God, poor my chart next week :kink:
If all songs in Norwegian sound as average as that, I'm glad their's only one in MGP this year

lol

there is alot of better songs in Norwegian :P

but Im very sad it's only 1 Norwegian song, and it have no chance either :(

We seem to be forgetting Iceland being overshadowed by Norway... Icelandic first Semi is AMAZING!!!

Íris Hólm - The one - 8/10 - Started off bland to be honest, but i decided not to switch to other song but listen it 'til the end. Was totally worth it.

Karen Pálsdóttir - In the future - 9/10 - So amazing to see a proper uptempo song in the icelandic semis  It seems to be that after last year's success people prefer not to risk and sing slow ballads :( This song is so new to me! New (kinda) sound... totally unexpected for Iceland lol.

Kolbrún Eva Viktorsdóttir - You are the one - 10/10 - Perfect! Shivers down my back since the first second literally. ADORE the voice! f*** Norway. Iceland ftfw!

Matti Matt - Out of sight - 8/10 - so country-esque and it's what is amazing about the song! I want to dance all the way through this song. <3

Sjonni Brink - You knocked upon my door - 6.5/10 - A Little bit bland compared to other songs in this semi but still MUCH better than Johnny Hide from Norwegian MGP

Romania time:

Xonia - 9/10 - Love it, it sounds as a carbon copy of some epic electro pop $h!t we've had last year. In some parts the vocalist(s?) sounds as Rihanna and Lady GaGa lol Especially GaGa in the last verse starting with 'i'm crazy'. It's so gonna confuse people 'coz it REALLY sounds as GaGa LOL.

Blaxy Girls - 5/10 - Bland ballad. Nobody is going to concentrate their attention on this only because it's written about 2012 predicted catastophe

Annamari Dancs - 9/10 - LOVE it. So ethnic and modern at the same time. Catchy as hell despite chorus being extremely annoying with the endless 'oniera'

Malta:

Samsara - 7.5/10 - VERY annoyed by the male talking over the song. It does put off this (great) song very much! But overall it sounds very decent. At least it's not Chiara.

Velvet Ocean - 7.5/10 - Decent as well, sounds like a grower. Not memorable at all after first listen though.

Fired Up - 5/10 - Cheap carbon copy of 19 other popular tracks of last 2 years. Awful live performance as well by the way!

Slovakia:

Hrdza - 8/10 - LOL Love it. Ethnic sounds are so 'shiver-down-my-spine' <3 I know i'm weak towards ethnic music especially balkan and irish

to be continued...

Spain:

Jose Galisteo - 8.5/10 - I feel so generous on big points today  But this is epic! Without listening to other songs i say - this song ftw!

Modovan songs are mostly trash so i shall not review them tbh. Because most of them will be 2/10 :(

do you really overhype some of these just because they are potential Eurovision entries?

I keep getting excited to listen to them after your comments so I've rushed to youtube to do so but some of these you are lavishing praise on are far from special :(

I don't know, it seems that i like them because they're potential ESC entries indeed :( I can't help it though LOL.

I changed my mind on Blaxy Girls' song by the way. It's a solid 7.5 now! Still not better than their last year's entry to Romanian national selection.

Iceland semi 1;

Íris Hólm - The one - 8.5/10 - Classic Eurovision ballad but in the Cyndi - I'll Leave My Heart/Glennis Grace - My Impossible Dream flop mould - also sounds like she's about to launch into Diana Ross' When You Tell Me That You Love Me at times. Incredibly powerful but so dated in ballad terms (although so was It's My Time and that came 5th!)

Karen Pálsdóttir - In the future - 8/10 - very catchy, but sounds more like a Greek/Armenian than Icelandic entry - fairly generic to be honest

Kolbrún Eva Viktorsdóttir - You are the one - 8/10 - dramatic - I'm not blown away but it seems like a grower

Matti Matt - Out of sight - 2/10 - sounds like Bon Jovi taking on Cotton Eye Joe - not good at all

Sjonni Brink - You knocked upon my door - 5/10 - Very early 90's Curtis Stigers type song crossed with a chorus/production that sounds like it belongs to an X Factor winner's debut single - completely average on first listen

I don't know, it seems that i like them because they're potential ESC entries indeed :( I can't help it though LOL.

it's rather odd that in BJSC you're an indie kid at heart yet in this forum you praise the WORST pop songs available

Matti Matt 8/10? Seriously? it's awful :puke: maybe if Music Everywhere had been in Eurovision for Finland it would have become amazing to you :kink:

LOL yeah! You can't really tell that i like Grizzly Bear if you see how i hype some pop $h!t in this forum

It's catchy as hell, but yeah i noticed Bon Jovi in the beginning and even checked the song in my player if it's on shuffle and got into Bon Jovi's album (that i don't have on my PC LOL)!

No thanks, Music Everywhere totally would've been my 3/10 or less regardless of appearance in Euroviisut 2010 :puke:
