I think you'll like the first two more than the last three, probably the second one would be your favourite due to its traditional influences :P

Bosnia-Herzegovina goes with Vukašin Brajić

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina - Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided to go with Vukašin Brajić for the Eurovision Song Contest this year, their national broadcaster BHRT announced today.

Today the professional jury for the Bosnia-Herzegovina national selection, BH Eurosong 2010, decided on Vukašin Brajić and his song Munja I Grom (Lightning And Thunder). The composer of the song is Dino Šaran, a famous Bosnia-Herzegovina composer and frontman of the popular rock band Letu Štuke.

The first public performance of the entry will take place on 7th of March, in a special program called BH Eurosong 2010 on BHT1.

EXCITED <3

I'm listening through the songs of Icelandic second semi. Nothing is even remotely as good as You Are The One is there. :(
One More Day is good <3 MUCH better than anything else there imo. The voice is so charming, love the electric guitars in the end. The first chorus kick starts the epicness of this song, the song (tone, 'drama factor' etc if you know what i mean) grows after it. Still, not better or even as good as the perfection You Are The One which is very high on here :kink:

Let's have a quiz!

What do Switzerland, Bulgaria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Israel & Ukraine all have in common.

CLUE: Albania is like the opposite of what they have in common. Figure it out, and you'll understand what I mean ;)

they are sending male artists to Eurovision this year!

CORRECT! You win...the glory of being the winner of my 1-question quiz :P

Seven artists are confirmed, six of whom are male :o Is there a record for amount of males at ESC in one year? Always seems to be female dominated, but I guess more countries are thinking "Well, we've had two male winners in a row, one of which made lots of records".

We should be expecting loads of females soon then :heehee:
even Sweden will probably go male...Darin and Peter Joback are surely the favourites and then Eric Saade has a Kempe song...
NMGP also has only one female so far :heehee:

NMGP also has only one female so far :heehee:

But I reckon that one female (Maria) or Mira will win.

iTunes update? Is Bjorn still #1?

clips from MGP semi 2 are out; my views on them -

Venke Knutson – Jealous Cause I Love You - sounds very promising, owes a lot to the 2008 soul pop boom which the UK's Revelations should have capitalised on two years ago :( instead we sent the dancing disco dad and came last...looking forward to the rest 8.5/10

Skanksters – Life is Here Today - hearing Norwegians sing Madness style Ska is very odd indeed...the singer even appears to have acquired a cockney accent...sounds like House Of Fun  am quite intrigued to hear this in full 7.5/10

Tomine Harket – Be Good To Me - a ballad - sounds gorgeous from the clip but maybe a bit too slow - need to hear the whole thing 8/10

Hanne Haugsand – Don't Stop - hmm...very dated sounding pop song - not overly exciting sounding 7/10

Maria Arredondo – The Touch - another ballad, ok chorus but again need to hear the full thing 7.5/10

Heine Totland – The Best of Me is You - cringe...this would be an Andy Abraham result for Norway 3/10

Alexander Stenerud – Give It To Me - sounds interesting from the clip, he has a strong voice - I recall him from coming 3rd last year...8/10

Denmark reveals song titles and candidates

Bryan Rice - Breathing

Joakim Tranberg - All About A Girl

MariaMatilde Band - Panik!

Simone - How Will I Know

Jens Marni - Gloria

Chanée & N'evergreen - In A Moment Like This

Kaya Brüel - Only Tonight

Thomas Barsøe - Just Like Rain

Sukkerchok - Kæmper For Kærlighed

Silas & Kat - Come Come Run Away

Sukkerchock have only one of the two (if Panik counts) Danish language songs it seems! :o

I've really got my fingers crossed for Sukkerchok's song, Det Det was amazing  Also it was my first top 5 in BJSC.. kind of :kink:

So looking forward to DMGP, I loved all 10 songs last year...though I feel they still sent the worst :kink:

And Sukkerchok! :w00t: "Det Det" should have gone to Moscow, so I hope they make it to Oslo this year. Their song will be amazing

but I don't see the winning song yet, I think the winning song will be revealed in Skien, I think I will go as I only live 40 mins from there

You keep saying that :P But I only live half an hour from the BBC studios, so maybe I will go to Your Country Needs You
it's not like you can just turn up to these things and go straight in :P if only it was so easy!
