Venke Knutson – Jealous Cause I Love You Liking it, expecting no more than from this clip though in the full song. 7.5/10

Skanksters – Life is Here Today Are them accents real lol? Would be interesting to hear it in full. 6/10

Tomine Harket – Be Good To Me Voice is great, melody is charming, really can't wait to hear it in full, must be incredible! I will be immensely pleased if it is something like Evanescence's ballad, i.e. heavy music with incredible vocal in the ending part... or at least the ending of You Are The One. After second listen gave it +1! 9/10

Hanne Haugsand – Don't Stop Sounds so Abba but the incredibly trashy version of them. Second 23 REALLY made me give it one more point because it sounds AMAZING (two seconds after 23rd i mean). 5/10

Maria Arredondo – The Touch Bland bland bland. Any guy in coma is more entertainful than this song. 3/10

Heine Totland – The Best of Me is You Sounds very dated. Sounds promising in general though. 5/10

Alexander Stenerud – Give It To Me It feels like i'm already listening to the live version of this song in the show. Terribly annoying voice, the title is absolutely ATROCIOUS. I can't help but ALWAYS dislike ANY song with this title be it Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Shakira or... what is his name again? 3/10

edit: lol forgot to add... terrible semi final.

All he needs is a very lucky day then :kink:

Havn't you seen how many seats it's free in the Semi Finals? :o

and Skien have one of the biggest places :o

at least you have the option to go the MGP semis! The Icelandic semis only invite 15 audience members :heehee: they are all invited to bring their own torches to the studio too as the lighting needed to power a studio proved far too costly for the Icelandic TV network responsible for picking their successor to Yohanna

Norway's production looks like the Oscars in comparison!

So is it true what Graham Norton said during the final last year, about Iceland? "The entire nation has chipped in to pay for this satellite link". :kink: If they can't afford lighting for the studio, I don't understand how they can afford the participation fee  And surely they need to send a rubbish song, so they don't win like Yohanna almost did (well, she wasn't close to Norway in points, but she was 2nd).

I was joking :( if you saw the semi you'd see what I meant :heehee: it was easily the cheapest looking thing I've ever seen hosted by two laughing hyenas who wouldn't even get a quiz channel presenting job on UK TV - the audience was minimal at best, maybe 50 people max, they barely made any reaction to anything and appeared to be sitting on chairs brought in from their own homes which somebody had conveniently cleared space for at the side of the stage

you wouldn't think that this was a nation who had just come 2nd last year - if they ever do win, they would surely have to pass it on to another nation? :o I can't see how they could stage anything of such magnitude - any TV show I've seen from Iceland looks like it's from the 80's

I promised myself that I would only know a handful of songs before the actual show in May. So far, both Albania and Switzerland are really good! I really think Switzerland will hit it off with the juries. :D

No more songs for me until Ireland chooses. And we all know that's gonna be another disaster. :(

Another disaster? I wouldn't consider "Et Cetera" a disaster. Yes, it didn't make the final, but it did better than the Turkey and I loved it. But Ireland got a good result in 2006, so it won't be certain disaster, at least I hope not

Miro will present 5 songs to the Bulgarian public on February 7th. They will then go on heavy rotation on TV, Radio & my Mp3 Player for three weeks before the national final on February 28th. This way, everyone already knows their favourite before the actual final.

OMG we have a Swedish poster? :o

Nay. I just got bored with the Irish flag and the English language, so I changed everything to Swedish. :(

True, 2009 was alright, but 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 were awful. :puke2: I just hope we send something great this year!

The worst thing is that at the time, I loved Dustin the Turkey ^_^

Ireland 2007 is my absolute favourite ESC entry if you ask :kink:

Ireland 2007 was as cringey lyrics wise as UK 2007, any song that name checks multiple European cities/countries in the lyrics to try and win votes is so embarrassing :(

Finland 2000 was another prime example of this, and of course Ireland 2008

And Netherlands 2010 :nocheer:

I quite like the name checks, even though they are a bit like, "Hey, I'm saying the name of your country, now you've got to vote for my country".
They just sound a bit desperate to me. That said, Eurovision wouldn't be the same without them
