It could be Duncan...he seemed to be quite involved in ESC this year. Spokesperson, he appeared on YCNY at least once.

Yes, "Rule The World" is really good but I find "To Love Again" a bit disappointing to say GB wrote it. Imagine that...GB writing a song for GB :P

I think we should be aiming to send a spectacular pop song to Eurovision :P it's the only way we'll win...To Love Again would be lucky to come top 15 for us...

Pray, Shine, Never Forget, Rule The World, Patience, Back For Good etc...we know Gary's capable of writing spectacular pop songs, not to mention the fact that he wrote a number of songs on Delta's stunning debut album Innocent Eyes

Which would surely make him the obvious person for the media to report as a likely candidate. I'm taking it with a pinch of salt at the moment.

Did someone mention that Duncan denied it on his twitter? Well my mum has said that Duncan Denies a lot of things, saying that he denied he was going on "Dancing On Ice" on Loose Women...then guess what he took part on :P

But I think she said he's currently doing something in the West End, or just about to start something in the West End.

What this means though is that the BBC SHOULD make an official announcement soon :D

Yeah, he's doing Legally Blonde the musical, which looked awful from CIN tbh :(

Some exciting news has been added to the Sweden post! We will soon know all the acts taking part in MF :D

hmm...interesting choice from Belgium

he's a nice enough singer with a fairly decent voice but he needs to get his English spot on or else he'll end up looking silly...

here's his cover of Leona's Bleething Love

I like his voice, but he can't beat the original "Bleeding Love". Might sound better with his own song, as I won't be able to really compare it to anything.

Kejsi Tola is entering the Albanian selection! I liked her song this year, so I'm up for sending her to Oslo...along with the man in the blue spiderman suit :P
That spiderman suit was HORRIBLE. The worst outfit of the decade. Ew.

So your telling me that Ukraine in 2007 wasn't the worst outfit of the decade? :o

At least the spiderman outfit was a nice shade of blue, and shiny. I quite liked it, better than the normal spiderman costume in my opinion -_-

And while we're on the subject, where does Scooch rank on the list of "Worst outfit of the decade"? :P

Portugal

Portugal will enlarge its preselection to a 2 semifinals and 1 final format (March 2nd, 4th, 6th). 24 songs will chosen out of an online votinh and each semifinal will hold 12 songs, six of which will qualify to the final. Foreigner songwriters are allowed to compete but the singer must be Portuguese, as well as the lyrics.

In the semifinals, the voting is 100% public. The national jury will have a 50% vote in the final.
