October 9, 200915 yr So where do you guys think the live album will peak in the UK??? I'm hoping for a top 10 placing - I'd be happy with top 20 though ... and it sticking around for a while. To be honest though ... its the DVD success I'll be following ... I want the headline to read in a few months time that Take That hold three of the top 5 selling music DVD's of all time. Norma
October 9, 200915 yr I'll hazard a guess as well it'll go top 10.....but, then again, since this is just speculation for now, who really knows where it'll top out in the charts??? We shall see where it'll eventually wind up....
October 10, 200915 yr Author I went for top 3 but im hoping top 5 at the lowest, and i suppose in a way im hoping number 1.
October 10, 200915 yr I went for top 3 but im hoping top 5 at the lowest, and i suppose in a way im hoping number 1. Pretty sure number 1 is out of the questions. As is any top 5 - not with studio albums from Susan Boyle, Cheryl Cole, Leona, Alexandra and Sob. Norma
October 10, 200915 yr are all those albums out the same day??? No - but I can see at least Leona's and Susan Boyle's albums hanging around for a while. Norma
October 10, 200915 yr There's also an Enya Best of being released on/around 23 November.....and several Michael Jackson re-releases out the week prior....with all this new/re-issued stuff coning out at about the same time, it'll create a lot of competition for everyones money, imo.....then again, what do I know....ne being a lackey round these parts....
October 10, 200915 yr Gary's new signing to his label has her album out on 23rd November too. Although it is just classical so I'm certain that won't do anything much. The girl has a fabulous voice. Biggie if you like Enya - you may just like Camilla Kerslake. By the way ... there was an interview in Music Week this week and Gary set the record straight ... he will never do anything solo again - he's too busy with Take That and his new label - he wants to spend time with new artists. He said any spare time he has is strictly for his family only. He also said they and Rob are not writing anything and there is no reunion - it is all just media talk. Norma
October 11, 200915 yr Author Im sure gary will enjoy working on his label so much as he has a genuine passion for music, and he can channel this into the label and im sure he will give it his best shot to make it a huge success. As for the robbie and take that working together writing etc those rumours will forever continue and we will know just to ignore them.
October 11, 200915 yr   at the fool who voted complete flop! As if! Unless they're counting missing a top ten place a complete flop! Norma
October 12, 200915 yr Author I think there are some people who would love to see take that have a major flop album, but good news for us IT WONT HAPPEN!
October 14, 200915 yr It depends what you name as a "complete flop"? I won't say "complete", but i think it would be a flop (lower top 40). They get first the DVD - this is the main attraction. How many people give money for live CDs? And how many in pop music? The tracks from Abbey Road are very disspointing for me. Same songs, over and over - why should i want to have them? If some rare tracks, never sung live, i would buy it. Some new song - i would buy it. But there are some songs which are already only with string / piano - i don't see what a new acoustic would add to it. If Howard would have choose to sing Here and Jason any other song as How did it come to this - i would have been more enthusiastic... If they would have make a difference between the tracks from DVD and from the CD, they would have better chances. Now i think they won't sell over 50000 albums, including christmas sell  . People would have to choose between Robbie, Sobo, Alexandra, Westlife so why to buy a live CD?
October 14, 200915 yr It depends what you name as a "complete flop"? I won't say "complete", but i think it would be a flop (lower top 40). I think in this case the 'total flop' means outside the top 75 Iris - and I doubt it will be as lowly as that. Norma
October 14, 200915 yr As nowadays you need to sell only 3000 or 4000 to come in top 40, i expect they will made it. But not in top 10, i am afraid. For me it will be a flop if they will be outside top 20. It might be a slow seller, as the people have the normal CD and will want more the DVD. Just my take on it as i won't rush either to have it

I'm really looking forward to this live cd for my own satisfaction - I honestly don't care about the chart position (although I'm sure it'll do top 20). I just want to have a cd in the car ... with some of the old songs - with just the four voices on. I especially can't wait to have Never Forget this way. The old songs sound better this time. Norma
October 15, 200915 yr Author With the time of year they are releasing it will take alot more than 3 or 4,000 to make the top 40 regadless of its position i can see it selling reasonably well from its time of release until the end of the christmas period.
October 16, 200915 yr The old songs sound better this time. Norma I agree...I was shocked to hear the old albums. I did it only once
