They have supported Mystery Jets, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, and Babyshambles. Although yet to enjoy mainstream success, their first two singles have been played on BBC Radio 1, Virgin Radio, BBC 6 Music, XFM, and Kerrang Radio, receiving serious support from Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy, Zane Lowe, and many others. They have also been played on music channel MTV2 [1] and have been highly rated by the record store Rough Trade Records [2], who listed "Reunion"/"Much Too Much" as their fourteenth favourite single of 2005. Their second single released in March 2006, "How It All Went Wrong" was limited to 1,500 copies and sold out on the day of its release. The video that accompanied the song was made on a shoestring budget, at the Tatty Bogle Club in London where the band rehearse, by music promo directors Type2Error. The band consists of Fred Macpherson, Chris Burman, Billy Leeson, and Shaun Patterson. They don't currently have a long-term bassist or drummer. Original bassist Olli Rose is currently enjoying fame on the jazz-funk-rap scene, where he has worked with bands such as Trafalgar and Ronnie from the Littl'ns. He is currently planning to form a band called "Who's got the crack" On July 22, 2006, Les Incompétents' frontman, Billy Leeson was attacked on the Camden Road after getting off a number 29 bus in Camden, North London. Following an argument with another male passenger concerning his girlfriend, he was followed from the bus to the street. He suffered head injuries, which police described as critical.
