Kom defintiely does sound even better in the studio version :D Keep On Walking isn't overly different, testament to Salem's live vocals I should say :P

Thanks Aaron

To be honest i didn't like Salem's studio version :(

I definitely feel myself swaying more over to Timoteij than Salem having heard the studio versions but both would be great entries for Sweden. Salem would be more 'different' and credible but Timoteij would do better in ESC...

I reckon Anna, Darin and Peter will make up the top 5 in the final unless somebody drastically improves in Andra Chansen...

I haven't heard David's song.. I heard a little bit of Anna's.. Not my style..

Alcazar/Ola/Timoteij top 3 for me!

I didn't find her voice irritating at all - personal opinion I guess :P

and by 'amazing vocal' I meant that she was vocally flawless - she didn't go out of tune or time or sound strained or anything...I like unique voices like Anna, Caroline and Agnes, much more interesting than generic one dimensional voices in my opinion.

I'm clearly not the only one who liked her either seeing as she won the heat

I know that whether or not a voice is pleasant to listen to is totally subjective, and I fully accept that me finding her voice irritating it just personal opinion. However there is no getting past the fact that she is a long way from technically accomplished. She is shaking all over the place, and not just in a vibrato sort of way, and she's extremely nasal.

I need Ola, Manboy, Darin and Kom

Where can i get them?

At least she stayed in the right key and in time :funky:

I don't know  I thought it was decent, my ears never pick up vocal flaws unless they're blatantly obvious. I can watch American Idol or X Factor and think 'that was really good' and a judge will say 'dude, that was pitchy' or 'that was flat and out of tune' and I'll be

Anyone know if there is a link to watch the 4 shows in full?

I pray that "Kom" wins MF, I think the chances of it happening are good. I see it being top 3 MINIMUM!

If they win I hope they don't translate it to English, or directly to English...

kom kom kom...

cum cum cum...

Oh no, that's gonna be all I think about whenever I listen to it now :P

Peter, did you know Anna did that Oh Laura song you always consider for BJSC for one of her X Factor performances :o

I guess I can hear vocal shaking there but I think it adds something to be honest, it feels more raw and natural to me

:kink: sorry

They give comments like that on American Idol???

I never watch it but I think those two things you mentioned is already more than they'd say in a whole series about the actual singing skill of the contestants. It's either totally mindblowing and perfect (when it quite clearly is not) or pointless comments about the performance, or the song choice and how they made it their own.

I suppose American Idol is still more about the music.

As for Anna I have no doubt that she'll get better if she's given a decent shot at having a proper career, just as Agnes did. Some of her Idol performances were unbearable, and Anna is already alot better technically than Agnes was. At least Anna does sort of suit the shakyness in her voice.

Well, Randy Jackson (American Idol judge) would say something like that at least  X Factor isn't anywhere near as good as it used to be, the judges are never honest, not even Simon really anymore :( they all praise their acts for substandard performances, but Simon was worse this year, particuarly with Danyl, proclaiming 'that was life changing-ly good, best of the series so far' etc...when Danyl had just sang out of tune :/

I think with Anna, she comes across as somebody like Suzanne from Pop Idol 2 (if you remember her) or even Natasha Bedingfield or Amanda Jenssen, in that their voices are husky and you can accept shortcomings in their performance because they make up for it in tone and often personality. With pure pop singers, it's a lot more noticable when they veer off track.

By the way, since Keep On Walking hasn't been released as a single yet, how are people getting the studio version?

I can only assume they're getting it from the album, so why doesn't somebody hurry up and just upload the whole thing!

And I think maybe that is why her voice bothers me so much more in her MelFest song than her version of Release Me did. Because This Is My Life is not nearly as quirky as Natasha Bedingfield or Amanda Jenssen; it's pretty mainstream, and purely in my opinion would suit somebody with a purer voice singing it.

I have Darin, Ola, Timoteij, Salem Al Fakir, Eric Saade, Lovestoned, Neo and Anna Bergendahl in studio. Does anyone have Alcazar? I'll happily do a swap! :D
