:cheer: this is the best thing that could have happened for me, they MUST reach the final again, I can only hope the song is half as good as Stay The Night :D I hope this song will be launching a new studio album by them too!

also very pleased to see Sibel, Elin Lanto and Darin in the latest batch :D Darin will qualify from semi 3 whatever he sends so Alcazar might have to go through second chance again if one of the other songs is amazing

having said that, they did seem extremely popular in 2009 MF, the crowd reaction for Alcazar was second only to that of E.M.D.'s teenage girl screaming

unless I've completely misread the article, the final wildcard is rumoured by a Swedish tabloid to be a collaboration between Lena Philipsson, Linda Sunblad and Jenny from Ace of Base :o

stuff Alcazar, I know who I'd be backing :kink:

or does it suggest that these 3 are fighting for the final wildcard separately?

can anyone make any sense of this article; http://www.expressen.se/noje/1.1805611/de-...m-sista-platsen

I love Lena and Linda but seriously, Jenny was my childhood idol along with the woman who played the mum in 2 Point 4 Children and Melissa Joan Hart (don't ask about those two ). This would be the best news possible for me

LMAO loved Sabrina The Teenage Witch much? :kink:

I have all 5 series that have been released so far on DVD  Series 6 is out in March :cheer:

One of these three will be the 4th joker

Jennny Berggren is having her song special written to make it best as possible

Swedish veteran Peter Jöback is probably favourite to win based on name alone, second would be Darin I guess - he's huge

for those not familiar with Peter, this is his current single, a decent cover of Travis' Sing with one of the girls from Cookies 'N' Beans who were in this year's MF;

Alcazar will be performing on February 20th, in Round 3..

They'll be against Elin Lanto, Neo and Darin (among others)

Eek...

R&B singer Pauline is the final wildcard to be announced for Melodifestivalen  what a massive anti-climax :(

Well clearly they were holding out for somebody bigger who didn't pull through.

Although I can see why Christer would be reluctant to include a schlager queen like everybody was hoping for. They would most likely win, and then flop at Eurovision.

I'm not too worried...Sweden always have a great national final, there are alot of talented writers taking part this year, and the primary aim after all is to find a song for Eurovision. I'm looking forward to discovering artists I hadn't previously heard of.

Pauline :D

I almost sent her for BJSC! ^_^

I knew I'd heard the name in BJSC before but couldn't remember how or where seeing as she's never been entered

It was a hit in Norway actually Pauline - Give Me a Call :D

just found out that it was Helena Paparizou - who pulled out because of time constraints but has apparently said that she'll take part in MF 2011

:( would have loved to see Helena live (yes I know you've met her :P) but I'm sure Pauline will be just as epic :drama:

who's excited :w00t: only 9 days to go - I've been hearing more of this NEO recently, he was featured on Popjustice the other day, he looks and sounds exactly like Mika so the song should be very 2007
I am, starts this weekend :w00t: Anyone know the lineup of the first semi? It's up against Norway, Denmark and Iceland finals so it will have to be pretty great
This weekend is like the SUPER SCANDINAVIAN FESTIVAL weekend lol
Tru dat :kink:
