If you've not heard of this lot you need to NOW. They sound like Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Except maybe better. Pitchfork (and I know you all seem to hate them) gave it a 9.1 and I can't disagree really. Definitely up there with the likes of 'Two Dancers' and 'Veckatimest' as one of the albums of the year. My personal standout is 'Lust For Life' but everything on there is pretty great. I think 'Laura' is the next single. Check it out.

Yes, they sound like The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, but i just find them a bit dull :/. Not quite sure how they became so big. Oh and the album title is even worse than Discovery's "LP". They're trying to make themselves inaccessible from google?

Got 7 tracks into it earlier this week but it didn't really grab me.

I'll give it another go at some point but at the moment I don't get it.

Prefer Pains.. if we're doing that comparison.

I think with this album (and Pains for that matter) I can't really listen to it all at once. It's all a bit samey. Not in a bad way mind.

i LOVE that album...love with the first ...listen n it sgettin better

contender for my album of the year

everyone say that they sound like Pains of Being Pure at Heart , beach boys etc

in my ears , in many cases , they sound like an american version of "britpop" !!!

like a mix of post-different class mature Jarvis Cocker with (dare to say) supergrass "i should coco" in a low speed.

yes we talk about the same band n album (!!!) but sometimes it needs a little bit of imagination to find out what it really looks like...
