i will look forward to that it will be a real gud eastenders night and i also have the upcoming eastenders dvd pre ordered.

Fabulous episode tonight. I always forget just how great a character Bianca actually is.

Of the new bunch I'm feeling Becca most. She was surprisingly convincing as 'Amanda Swanson' :heehee: Quite liking Billie thus far. Danny has gone down in my estimations. All he ever does is stand there with his mouth wide open. He literally has one expression.

Yea it was nice to see lots of scenes with the Brannings/Jacksons where they all realise they are connected :D

Can't believe so close to live ep already. Script was given to cast today!

Im so so looking forward to the live episode and the week of the anniversary will be a real treat for eastenders fans.
I dont tink it will be but on saying that you could be right overrated dreams as it would help explain a few things.

All new big storyline!

EastEnders entrepreneur Jack Branning is to be shot in a shock story twist over the coming months.

The former policeman - played by 38-year-old Scott Maslen - becomes embroiled in the messy misdemeanours of one of the Square's younger residents.

Jack is literally caught in the line of fire, though, when the situation quickly spirals out of control. He's rushed to hospital and his nearest and dearest are left wondering if he'll pull through.

An Albert Square source revealed to DS: "Billie Jackson's back in Walford for a reason - and it soon becomes apparent that he's hiding a gun from his family. Could Billie be responsible? Is somebody else out for revenge? Or is it all an innocent mistake?"

Meanwhile, a Walford insider told the Daily Star on Sunday: "During his time in the square he's made a number of enemies. But it could well be someone from his dodgy past that catches up with him. And then there's his love life. He's slept with sisters Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell, as well as their cousin Sam. So there's no reason why it couldn't be a crime of passion..."

An EastEnders spokesperson said: "We never comment on future storylines."

The scenes, filmed recently at the soap's home at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, are due to be screened in late March or early April.

EastEnders celebrates its 25th anniversary on February 19 with its first ever live episode.

I think that the murderer is

Stacey

I'm convinced it's either

Stacey

or

Jack

Ugh.

Actor Shane Richie is to reprise his role as EastEnders' Alfie Moon later this year, it has been confirmed.

The 45-year-old was last seen in the BBC soap on Christmas Day 2005 when Alfie and wife Kat (Jessie Wallace) drove off into the sunset together bound for America in their Ford Capri.

He is due to return to filming in the autumn and will make his screen reappearance toward the end of the year.

Speaking of his comeback, Richie said: "It's an honour and a privilege to be asked back to the iconic series of EastEnders which is at the top of its game! I'm looking forward to finding out what Alfie has been up to over the last few years but more importantly - what the future has in store for him."

Controller of BBC drama production John Yorke commented: "Alfie is one of EastEnders' most loved and iconic characters, so he's bound to get a very warm welcome from viewers when he returns to Walford.

"We've had so many new and interesting characters settle into Albert Square since Alfie departed that it's going to make for fantastic viewing when one of the show's most familiar faces rides back into the East End."

Last year, however, Richie told Digital Spy that Walford had "moved on" since his initial exit, explaining that he enjoyed spending time with his wife Christie and his four children.

Since his departure, Richie went on to star in Five's remake of classic comedy drama Minder.

In October last year, his father Harry Roche died at the age of 65 after a long battle with cancer.

It has not yet been confirmed whether Jessie Wallace will reprise her role as Richie's screen wife Kat.

I'm not thrilled tbh. Please let Jessie's return be announced if we have to put up with him :(

AH. I liked Alfie but if Kat isnt returning aswell, then there really isnt much point to it surely?

New cast wise, im really loving Becca. Much better than the drips Stacey usually gets put with. Danny Mitchell is pointless though but Billy Jackson seems fine so far.

I love Becca aswell. She could be a fantastic character.

Alfie's return would only work if Kat returned aswell. I would love her back to give the Slater's more numbers.

I'm loving that Billie is played by the actor he was originally played by! I like it when soaps do that (like Clare Bates).

Also, Alfie is one of those classic characters who should stay away or fear tainting him. Same goes with Kat. I will certainly be watching if/when he/they do/does return though.

Im not overly excited about Alfie returning i was never a huge fan i always thought Nana was the best member of the moon family as i loved her, however if he is coming back i hope Kat comes back aswell as i loved Kat she is one of my fave ever eastenders charactors, id love more slaters bacl in the square as they have been a brilliant family and probably one of the most remembered and best families ever in the sqaure(IN MY OPINION!!!)

I can only imagine that they've announced his return this far in advance if they're also in talks with Jessie Wallace. I reckon she'll be back too (she'd better be).
it seems so odd Alfie, Billie, Sonia, Robbie and Carol all coming back...the return of the full Jackson family (well, minus Alan I guess) is very surprising :o
Well Robbie and Sonia are only back for a couple of weeks but I agree, it's very rare to get such a complete unit back into a soap for a character's wedding. Congrats EE!

It definitely adds a sense of realism - soap weddings with no close family present really aren't very true to life unless it's an extremely low key wedding I guess
