As of right now I'm not feelin' Glenda at all. Is she a pathological liar or something? I don't find her believable. It probably doesn't help that she's always acting opposite Ronnie who is of course wonderful. Danny, however, I really liked tonight! He was a bit pouty but aside from that I thought he did a good job. It'll be interesting to see whether Glenda was lying about him being just like Archie because it sure as hell didn't seem like that tonight...

Glenda isn't sticking around. :( The actress said that she is back soon to film a couple more episodes but she doesn't know whats happening after that.
I am liking Danny now I've seen this episode. Very easy on the eye, not the worst actor I've ever seen and quite a decent person from the looks of it... I wonder how long that will last! I'm still loving Glenda, but she's being watered down what with only appearing in 1 or 2 scenes per episode these days.

'Enders: 'No plans for Windsor return'

EastEnders producers today denied that Barbara Windsor has entered into discussions for a return to the soap in 2012.

The 72-year-old, who has played Queen Vic landlady Peggy Mitchell for over 15 years, announced her decision to quit the BBC soap in October to spend more time with her husband Scott Mitchell.

Windsor is due to bow out of the show at some point this year but despite the fact that she has yet to finish filming, a Sunday tabloid today claims that the soap icon has already begun arranging a return in two years' time.

However, an EastEnders spokesperson told DS: "Barbara is due to leave EastEnders later this year and there are no current plans for her to return to the Square."

A show insider said: "Barbara's exit is currently being planned by EastEnders bosses and the details are being kept firmly under wraps."

They added: "At this stage, no one knows how Peggy will leave the Square but, in keeping with her character, it's set to be explosive."

I find it amusing that Barbara Windsor is a real-life Mrs Mitchell.
I do hope she makes future apperances in the show but if a producer like louise berridge is about is clearly didnt want peggy in the show it wont happen.

Another baby plot for 'EastEnders'

EastEnders' teen tearaway Lucy Beale makes the shock discovery that she's pregnant in the coming months, it has emerged.

Lucy, played by 17-year-old Melissa Suffield, learns the news several weeks after a number of encounters with Walford newcomer Leon (Sam Attwater).

The discovery sends shockwaves through the Beale family, causing problems with stepmother Jane (Laurie Brett) - who's desperate to adopt or foster a baby - and proud father Ian (Adam Woodyatt).

An Albert Square insider said: "Lucy's run rings around her father Ian and stepmum Jane for years.

"Lucy falls pregnant just at a time when Jane's desperate for a child of her own. Jane believes that the baby could be the solution to her dream of having a baby with Ian."

They added: "Emotions are set to run high for all the Beale family over the next few months and there will be many twists and turns ahead."

An EastEnders spokesperson, however, told DS: "We do not like to comment on future storylines as we would not want to spoil anything for the audience."

Lucy's pregnancy is the latest in a long list of recent baby plots. Zainab fell pregnant in August, while Heather's 'Who's The Daddy?' plot reached its climax in October.

Ronnie lost her unborn baby at Christmas after a run-in with her late father Archie, while Stacey revealed on Christmas Day that she became pregnant after Archie apparently raped her earlier in the year.

Baby central or what? It's definitely going to be an interesting one...

Poor Jane. First thought when I heard about this was Bree/Danielle, but I can't see Jane going that far :kink: Well who knows!

But seriously:

Heather

Zainab

Ronnie wanting followed by miscarriage

Stacey

Jane wanting

and now Lucy!

Talk about building a cast for the next 25 years!

I wish they would start focusing in on lucys charactor and bring out the real bitch that is in her, they really could start shaping her up to be the next cindy as all the indications are there, maybe the pregnancy storyline will start bringing that side out of her, lucy ha sthe potenbtial to be a great charactor but on syaing that there is something about her as an actress i dont like or believe.

Nice line by Roxy to Tracy "Thats the most i have ever heard you say"

I think tracey is turning into the new eastenders legend.

Tracy was surpised she got some lines today. I think get some more lines and become a permanent character.
I am loving Shirley's random pairings lately; Jean and now TRACE, QUEEN OF HEARTS (who should never become a major character - the JOY of her is in her being a mute for the most part).
