The only one in EE i'd go down on is Ryan :kink:

I agree though. She's looking much, much older lately. Shame she messed herself up cuz she used to be very attractive.

I Totally agree, she is hideous, my mother also thinks this

She's alright I think. Nothing special but most certainly not hideous.

One person who is vastly overrated though is Ryan. He ISN'T attractive. He still looks like a child. He looks quite like Liam sometimes. NOT HOT.

Whilst it is true to say that Daniella Westbrook has a face that would frighten a police-horse ... and despite the fact that she isn't one of life's greatest thespians ... I think she plays the role of Sam as it should be played. I wasn't entirely convinced by Kim Metcalf ... she gave the air of being an all-round nice person ... when the character of Sam was and always will be plain selfish!

...but surely thats because shes not acting, shes just being herself... ok i suppose it works..

A new era is coming :(

Former Hollyoaks producer Bryan Kirkwood is to take the helm at the BBC's flagship soap EastEnders after Diederick Santer steps down following the show's 25th anniversary.

Since taking over in October 2006, Santer has pioneered EastEnders through some of its most powerful and controversial storylines of recent years, including the Tony/Whitney paedophile plot and Danielle's death.

His time in office has also seen the return of a handful of the soap's iconic characters such as Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen), Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer), the original Sam Mitchell (Danniella Westbrook) and from early next year, the rest of the Jackson clan, including Carol, Sonia, Robbie and Billy.

Santer also introduced the show's most successful Asian family the Masoods into Walford and spearheaded the Bradley/Stacey/Max Christmas day reveal, which was seen by an average of 14.38m viewers.

From February 19, Santer will relinquish his role to ex-Hollyoaks producer Bryan Kirkwood, who helmed the Channel 4 teen soap for three years before stepping aside to make way for his successor Lucy Allan.

Kirkwood said of his new position: "I'm a huge soap fan so for me to be the new executive producer of EastEnders is a dream come true. Diederick Santer has done an amazing job and I'll be taking over a show at the top of its game - quite a daunting task but one I can't wait to get started on."

Kirkwood headed up production of E4's late-night Hollyoaks offering Later, which featured soapland's first parachute death and a cameo performance by Welsh songstress Bonnie Tyler.

Prior to Hollyoaks, he spent a decade working at Coronation Street as a storyliner during the Richard 'Tricky Dicky' Hillman (Brian Capron) era.

Could be interesting. Diederick's greatest achievement was the introduction and development of the Masoods but he wasn't perfect by any means and had a lot of silly ideas about casting and implausible storylines in my view. I'm not sure about this new guy, he seems to have taken Hollyoaks to a new low and thrown all its credibility away in favour of vapid storylines based on gloss and glamour. We'll see I guess...

Absolute crap. Daniella isn't really anything like Sam; she's reserved and seems to live a very quiet life. I don't think you have a point at all.

... ive never seen her out of character being anything other then a waggy type wannabe... like sam.

Wow. Quite a spoiler so careful if you dont wanna know

EastEnders holier-than-thou priest Lucas Johnson is to commit murder at the end of the month when he kills his fiancée's ex-husband Owen Turner.

In a one-hour episode, Lucas - played by Babyfather actor Don Gilet - reaches boiling point with Owen (Lee Ross) on his wedding day to Denise (Diane Parish) as Owen continues to push for the truth about Trina's (Sharon Duncan-Brewster) death.

On the eve of Lucas's nuptials, Owen realises the true extent of Lucas's involvement in his ex-wife's demise and confronts Walford's man of the cloth with his beliefs. However, concerned that his web of lies is about to untangle, Lucas tries to force Owen out of Walford.

Despite his attempts to remain calm, Lucas snaps and ends Owen's life to ensure his sins remain a secret.

In an ironic twist to the tale, Lucas then decides to bury Owen's body under Trina's memorial tree in the Square.

A show source told DS: "Lucas realises that his game's nearly up and panic-stricken, he lunges at Owen and takes his life so he can't tell anyone else that he covered what actually happened when Trina died."

LOL!

I was thinking just last night that Lucas was going to bump off Owen! Fabulous! Mushy will have a field day!

That Hour-Long airs 730-830 On Thursday 26th November

Sadly it's going to clash with Both Emmerdale and Corrie.

Emmerdale will be an Hour-Long(2episodes put together)7-8

Corrie is on at 8pm with Im A celeb at 830

so it's the first time Enders/Corrie have clashed since 2001 but will EastEnders win the clash again?

Ithink if the BBC advertise this gripping hour-long then they stand a big chance

Im loving the Lucas storyline, but i must admit im disappointed about Diederick Santer stepping down as he has really done some fantastic stuff with the show and really brought the show back to its strenghths after a bit of a weak spell,

MORE FUN SPOILERS

EastEnders favourites Ricky Butcher and Bianca Jackson are to tie the knot for a second time.

Show producers have confirmed that the divorced pair's latest love twist will begin at Christmas when Ricky, played by 37-year-old Sid Owen, decides to pop the question to his childhood sweetheart. Their wedding will take place in February to coincide with the Walford soap's 25th anniversary celebrations.

A source told The Mirror: "Ricky and Bianca getting hitched again is what viewers have been dreaming of from the moment they arrived back in Albert Square.

"This will hopefully be the happy ending everyone is waiting for. We could well be looking at the greatest love story ever told. It's going to be emotional."

The new storyline is expected to be the cause of the Jackson family's forthcoming Walford reunion. It was announced last month that Lindsey Coulson (Carol), Natalie Cassidy (Sonia) and Dean Gaffney (Robbie) will all be back on screen in the early part of next year.

Meanwhile, the programme's bosses have also confirmed that a spinoff DVD focusing on preparations for the nuptials is to be released in February. The one-off release, titled EastEnders: Last Tango In Walford, will see Bianca's daughter Tiffany (Maisie Smith) arranging the Jacksons' Albert Square comeback. It will also feature archive footage charting Ricky and Bianca's (Patsy Palmer) rocky romance and interviews with cast members.

The couple tied the knot for the first time in April 1997. However, they parted ways two years later when Bianca's affair with mum Carol's partner Dan Sullivan (Craig Fairbrass) was exposed.

My favourite part of that spoiler is

We could well be looking at the greatest love story ever told.

Naturally!

Charlie Clements has quit. The end for Bracey :(

EastEnders favourite Charlie Clements has quit the BBC soap after nearly four years, it has been revealed.

The 22-year-old, who has played Bradley Branning since January 2006, will leave in a "sensational storyline" that will play out as part of the Walford serial's 25th anniversary celebrations in February.

Clements said of his decision to exit: "I have been at EastEnders for nearly four years and I have enjoyed every minute with some fantastic storylines. But I feel that now is the time to take on some new roles."

EastEnders' executive producer Diederick Santer added: "Viewers will miss Charlie hugely and I can promise a big exit. I know he'll go on to great things."

Details of his exit storyline are being kept under wraps, but rumours suggest that his character will rekindle his romance with ex-wife Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

A source at the soap told The Mirror: "Bradley's emigration only lasts for six weeks before he gets called back to Albert Square early next month because of a family crisis.

"It isn't long before he realises he still has feelings for Stacey and doesn't know what to do."

Just about to post this! Damn you Ryan.

No more Bracey! :( I really hope this doesn't mean that Lacey will go aswell.

hehe sorry Gary :heehee:

Seriously gutted either way - no happy ending for Bracey or Lacey goes too.

But Diederick is going so I can see him having one big final 'Danielle' moment before he does :(

Exactly- Maybe Stacey finds out she's pregnant, and Bradley dies soon after that? I just can't see Bradley leaving in a taxi.. (Unless he's under it)

Bradley leaving in a taxi would be so dull, it would be too ironic an exit for them to even consider! I hope he does get killed off. Lacey isn't going to go and I'm sure they'll want to give her a reason for continued misery/insanity!
