They make it sound as though they've spoken to Gary this week .... when seriously - I doubt he and his family have been talking to anybody except funeral directors. But on the point of a World Cup song in general - they should ask Rob ... he's more of the footie fan. Norma
October 26, 200915 yr Both Mark and Gary are also big footie fans. I don't know about Jason or Howard. I don't know how old it is the news, it is the first time i read it. I still want for them the olympic game song, but this a too big cake and either someone from Simon or Robbie will do it.

Well if this is definitely being reported first time Iris - I'd say its even more a pile of pants. The British press always does this - they'll announce John Lennon's doing the World Cup song next. Norma
October 26, 200915 yr Author I cant see them doing a world cup song as it really isnt their style at all, if they are writing new material as a band it will be for the follow up to the circus.
October 26, 200915 yr They should let James Corden do it - that sketch that he did for Comic Relief with the England footballers was hilarious
November 2, 200915 yr I don't know why they're talking about (anyone) writing a new song for the World Cup ... when they already have a perfect song ... but sung by someone else .... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...a-Kerslake.html http://del.interoute.com/?id=688275ed-aa2f...a32219&deli And did anyone watch her singing this live at 7.40 this morning?
