Posted October 27, 200915 yr http://cdni.condenast.co.uk/320x480/s_v/Sugababes_V_26Oct09_PR.jpg THE Sugababes are embracing a new obsession: fashion. Having survived various incarnations from rock chicks to disco dollies and dance floor divas – they’re now showing off their fourth band line-up and have a new stylist, Alison Elwin, to go with it. “I love the Balmain shoulder,” new ‘babe Jade Ewen told us. “I’ve never been very curvy so I love that the big shoulder look gives me shape – although some of my friends are still like, ‘Are you sure?!’” “I like more girly things like Moschino and Preen dresses,” Heidi Range, the longest serving Sugababe told us. ” I loved Stella McCartney’s autumn/winter 2009-10 collection with the lace panelled dresses; I don’t need to add curves so I like things that accent my waist.” And, true to their styles, they have appropriate celebrity style icons: Rihanna and Dita Von Teese respectively. “I saw her at a party once,” Range says of burlesque queen Von Teese. “She was just as you would imagine. She had such a presence – everyone just turned to look at her as she walked past. I actually borrowed a dress once that she had worn to Cannes. It was the greatest moment that I fitted in to Dita’s dress!” The third of the trio, Amelle Berrabah, is currently resting in a clinic in Europe following the fall-out surrounding the departure of former Sugababe Keisha Buchanan. Range admits she “got quite emotional” when she received a text earlier this week from Amelle, assuring her she was on the mend. “She’ll be back with us in a few weeks and we’re looking forward to getting back to work,” Range revealed. The band’s new single About A Girl is released on November 9. Source: Vogue Thanks to our friends at Suganet. Edited October 27, 200915 yr by Aidan
