Leona confirms involvement in Haiti charity single.

 

Leona Lewis said ‘You can definitely count me in. What’s happened in Haiti is absolutely heartbreaking and I really hope everyone pulls together to help.’

 

The single will split all proceeds between ‘DEC’ (Disasters Emergency Committee) http://www.dec.org.uk/ and The ‘Helping Haiti’ appeal for Medecins Sans Frontieres UK http://www.msf.org.uk/.

 

Disasters Emergency Committee, Chief Executive Brendan Gormley said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to help those recording, producing and buying this charity single make a difference in Haiti. More and more water, food, household items and medical supplies are getting through to the earthquake survivors. Buying the charity single will greatly aid our work and help us work with survivors in Haiti to rebuild new lives from the ruins.’

Yeah I wonder why, the answers she gave and the way she defended GaGa's song choices were excellent, but while she was her normal polite self she did seem a bit annoyed. Do you really think it was because she lost her award. Personally I love this more fiesty, self assured Leona :wub:
