Posted November 1, 200915 yr Wasn't expecting much from this but it was surprisingly good! Heres ep 1 on iplayer- http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00ns...nson_Episode_1/ Stephenson was so much better than I had expected. Her Davina McCall is hilarious
November 1, 200915 yr I thought the impressions (apart from Culshaw's Cowell) were really good ... but the scripts were still a bit unfunny. Loved the Michael McIntyre one though ... and as you say ... Davina was to die for! Debra Stephenson is so good - I can't understand how someone as talented as that could have been so dreadful in Coronation Street! Norma
November 1, 200915 yr Author Yup Cowell and Cole were the worst 2 I thought. Anne Robinson was also very good! :D
November 1, 200915 yr Programmes like these are always very hit and miss. Ignoring the sketches where I had no idea who the people were, the first programme had a good hit rate.
November 2, 200915 yr The One Show people were good - if Adrian and Christine couldn't make the show, they could stand in - no-one would notice!
November 2, 200915 yr The One Show, Ricky Gervais and Davina were all pretty funny. There's some potential...
November 3, 200915 yr This was amazing! I recorded it and I'm still watching it all the time now. I crack up every time I see the 'Sleeping Beauty' Davina. The Michael McIntyre, Brian Blessed, Anne Robinson & Ricky Gervais impressions were very good too! Didn't think much to the Cheryl/Simon or, actually, Christine Bleakley, despite the fantastic Adrian Chiles impression. On a whole, superb though, and will definetly be watching it every week!
November 3, 200915 yr LOL this is great so far, The One Show  they got them down to a T and Davina's expressions
November 15, 200915 yr Author A relatively ok 2nd episode! Some are fab like Davina, The One Show, Gok Wan, Michael McIntyre and Fiona Bruce who is totally random! Also loved the GBrown rap! Lyrics had me in fits! But there's a few stinkers - namely Noel Edmonds, Simon Cowell, The Minogues and Wayne Rooney although the set-up was funny with Coleen! Debra's Davina however is still the highlight!

Loved the way they had Davina bumping into 'Claudia'. Norma
November 28, 200915 yr Author Really loving the random One Show segments  Davina and Claudia still absolutely amazing. Proper LOL moments! Other good ones this week included the fab Fiona Bruce, Justin Lee Collins, Phil and Kirstie, Jeremy Clarkson.. "It's nice to exterminate you, to exterminate you..."!
November 28, 200915 yr I think Stephenson is the best of the two. Her countryfile person is amazing and sounds exactly like her, Kirstie also is incredible.
November 29, 200915 yr Author AR - Fiona Bruce is hilarious! She is so spot on! I'm just dying to see the real Fiona do it! And agreed - Debra steals the show!
November 29, 200915 yr Debra is surprisingly impressive but I still don't think she's as good as Culshaw, who's always been a fantastic impressionist. Michael McIntyre is my favourite, it's spot on... Davina, Clarkson and Brucie are fantastic too. The Antiques Roadshow one was funny when I first saw it, but I've found it's got boring quite quickly...
November 29, 200915 yr The trouble with shows like this is that some sketches rely on a single joke. The Antiques Roadshow sketches are an example and, therefore, they aren't really funny any more. It doesn't always work that way. The sketches in the Armstrong and Miller show with the presenter breaking antiques, destroying paintings etc. managed to be funny throughout the series. Even in this show the Davina sketches are based on a single joke but they have continued to be funny so far. John Culshaw's David Cameron is pretty weak. Michael McIntyre is very good, including the reference to the vibrating hair last night.
