February 7, 201015 yr I panicked too early, read on the official site few moments later  It was just weird to see no 'DIDRIK WON OMG'. Good choice although i'd like KoK better :kink:
February 7, 201015 yr 1. Didrik Solli-Tangen 466.675 2. A1 278.882 3. Keep of Kalessin 241.164 3. Björn Johan Muri 169.174 tbh
February 7, 201015 yr not a small win for Didrik was it  Tone only got about 130,000 last year or something though to come 2nd so A1 and KoK did very well!
February 7, 201015 yr not a small win for Didrik was it  Tone only got about 130,000 last year or something though to come 2nd so A1 and KoK did very well! "Fairytale" got 747,888 last year, so if you put it like that, you could say that Didrik did rubbish, even if he did win :P
February 7, 201015 yr  What is this rubbish that's won for Norway? Just listening now on YouTube. What a horrible winning entry. He sounds as flat as a pancake. My poor ears!!!
February 7, 201015 yr even A1 would've been better than this TBH! Having heard both songs, I agree 1000% (yes, that's right - 1000%). That winning song is woefully horrible. Edited February 7, 201015 yr by Hitstastic
February 7, 201015 yr Just listening to the song now, can't see anything really special in it.....sounds very plain.
February 15, 201015 yr Yes Man should've won this...can't see Norway doing much this year at all. They've sent a very mediocre song imo. :(
February 16, 201015 yr This has nothing to do with ESC, but it has something to do with Norway. Donkeyboy, who were #1 for about 3 months in Norway with the song "Ambitions", are getting a UK release according to Popjustice :w00t:

Donkeyboy, who were #1 for about 3 months in Norway with the song "Ambitions", are getting a UK release according to Popjustice :w00t: FUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! IE an actual promoted one? I know the singles were put on iTunes already. And OMG it's out on my birthday :w00t: Oddly the video version is longer than the original... And there is an ESC connection, they actually wrote Yes Man. Pleased to see the more negative comments about MHIY rolling in btw :kink:
February 16, 201015 yr Yes Man should've won this...can't see Norway doing much this year at all. They've sent a very mediocre song imo. :( Yes Man wouldn't have done a lot at all at ESC I don't think, whereas this could quite easily rake in the traditional ballad votes a la Jade Ewen...A1 was their best chance of sending a crossover contemporary pop song I think - I'm gutted they finished 2nd in MGP :( interestingly, here is the Norwegian top 5 chart this week; 1. Bjorn Johan Muri - Yes Man :o 2. Didrik Solli-Tangen - My Heart Is Yours 3. Rihanna - Russian Roulette 4. A1 - Don't Wanna Lose You Again 5. Venke Knutson - Jealous 'Cause I Love You it's just like last year's MF - EMD had the most relevant pop/chart song, and topped the Swedish charts yet only finished 3rd in MF, yet Malena never topped the Swedish charts but appealed to a larger proportion of the MF audience and voting base and a more typical 'Eurovision' song. Similarly, I fully expect Ola to have a huge chart hit in Sweden with Unstoppable but I can't see it troubling the top 3 of the final as it doesn't have much appeal beyond teenage girls/cheesy pop fans
February 16, 201015 yr Whereas last year 'Fairytale' was clearly very popular in Norway, was no. 1 after winning the Melodi Grand Prix Norway 2009 and spent what must've been three months at no. 1? It's success in both MGPN 2009, Eurovision and European singles charts all proved how popular the song was. Even a #10 smash in the UK!!! :P I'm sure this years Eurovision winner won't collect anywhere near as many points as what 'Fairytale' did last year. Unless there's a really strong contender around the corner. Even the UK entry might be good yet.
February 19, 201015 yr Author Looks like we will have alot of Eurovision fans in the future, lol this is getting crazy from 0:40  http://www.vgtv.no/?id=28570
February 22, 201015 yr Author Still 4 MGP songs in the top 10, and Bjørn Johan Muri is still number 1 in the offical chart despite coming 4th in the final!! 1. (1) 6 Bjørn Johan Muri - Yes Man 2. (2) 4 Didrik Solli-Tangen - My Heart Is Yours 7. (5) 3 Venke Knutson - Jealous 'cause I Love You 8. (4) 4 A1 - Don't Wanna Loose You Again
February 22, 201015 yr it's so irritating, even the CD single cover says that, as well as on the case of the MGP CD that I bought... it doesn't make any grammatical sense :arrr:
February 27, 201015 yr Author 1. (3) 2 Artists for Haiti - We are the world 25 for Haiti 2. (1) 7 Bjørn Johan Muri - Yes Man 3. (4) 16 Rihanna - Russian Roulette 4. (5) 15 Lady Gaga - Bad Romance 5. (2) 5 Didrik Solli-Tangen - My Heart Is Yours 6. (9) 4 The Baseballs - Umbrella 7. (6) 12 Owl City - Fireflies 8. (NY) 1 Karpe Diem feat Andreas Grega - Ruter 9. (7) 4 Venke Knutson - Jealous 'cause I Love You 10. (13) 17 Kesha - Tik Tok 11. (NY) 1 Lang K.D. - Hallelujah 12. (11) 12 Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart 13. (18) 3 Iyaz - Replay 14. (8) 5 A1 - Don't Wanna Loose You Again 15. (NY) 1 Elin Gaustad - Confessional Song 16. (12) 2 Lars Vaular - Rett opp og ned 17. (14) 47 Donkeyboy - Ambitions 18. (NY) 1 Taio Cruz - Break Your Heart 19. (17) 3 Susanne Sundfør - The Brothel 20. (20) 24 Donkeyboy - Sometimes It's still Loose
February 27, 201015 yr 17. (14) 47 Donkeyboy - Ambitions It's still Loose  I assume that's the song your on about :P Almost a year in the chart? :o KD Lang at #11 :cheer: And Venke doing well in the charts, surprised she didn't make the top 4 over KoK. Venke's song is now my favourite of MGP 2010
