Same I don't think they have done a bad track. Yes live is amazing, although I love going mental in my room haha.

lol im not the only one who does that ;o

best time ever was when me and my mates were playing Testify in rock band in my living room, and I was on vocals, so many things almost broke.

Know Your Enemy is great to go mental too.

I blame the lack of an album cover. D:<

Lol sounds amazing. War Within A Breath is great too.

This is sarcasm right?

Kid A. <3 Amazing album. Idioteque is phenomenal, one of my favorite tracks of the decade. Mars Volta, on the other hand... :(

I'm predicting The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me at this point tbh. ;o

Yes, it was sarcasm :)

05| Muse - Absolution

http://www.pandoracd.co.kr/shop/file/PAN/200582111843_middle.jpg

Favourite Tracks :: Stockholm Syndrome, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Hysteria, Blackout, Sing For Absolution, Thoughts Of A dying Atheist

Great band now in Muse, this is their finest album ahead of Showbiz and Origin for me. This album just has tune after tune, they couldn't have hoped for it to turn about better I think. It has some of their best songs in 'Stockholm Syndrome' and 'Butterflies and Hurricanes', which may actually be their best two. Up to and including this album I thought their discography was faultless really with this being their masterpiece, it is a shame the following albums haven't lived up to this and seem to have a whole different feel for me. I don't think 'Blackout' is appreciated enough, it is stunning, but I'll leave you with the truly epic 'Butterflies and Hurricanes'.

05| My favorite album of all time. I just adore them. Whilst the last two albums haven't matched 'Absolution' I still think they are fantastic

04| Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

Favourite Tracks :: A Certain Romance, From The Ritz To The Rubble, When The Sun Goes Down, The View From The Afternoon, I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor, Still Take You Home

The debut from Sheffield's finest now then, DEFINITELY their best. Everything about this album is just amazing, Turner's lyrics are just awesome and some amazing songs around that. This was them at their best, talking about growing up, life in sheffield and their personal experiences. They have moved further away form this with each album which is a shame, the energy of the album is also amazing and something which the latest may have lacked a little. I think I'll show 'A Certain Romance' what a closer!

04| Superb debut. Can't see them being as big as they were unless they go back to this sound, even though they hate it

03| Deftones - White Pony

http://music.entemedia.de/covers/13/130008/alb_1107897_big.jpg

Favourite Tracks :: Back To School (Mini Maggit), Pink Maggit, Digital Bath, Knife Party, Elite, Rx Queen, Passenger

This was original going to be 6th but I had a change of heart because I knew I'd regret it, I could have put more in the favourite tracks bit but I didn't want to include the whole album. It is just so consistent and awesome and really shows the band experimenting sonically and taking the metal genre to a whole new level. It led to them being labelled as metal's Radiohead and I thoroughly agree if that means progressing and challenging. One of my many favourites from this album wasn't originally meant to be on it, Back To School was a result of the record company wanting a single, Chino and the band took offense and re-worked Pink Maggit with some extra Chino freestyle to show how easily a hit could be made. They succeeded and it is awesome.

02| Bloc Party - Silent Alarm

http://www.albertbanks.com/wp-content/thumb-BlocPartySilentAlarm.jpg

Favourite Tracks :: So Here We Are, She's Hearing Voices, Banquet, Like Eating Glass, Helicopter, Luno, Positive Tension

Another debut now from another adored band, as with the Arctics they showed their best work in their debut. It is an album with an amazing feel to it and every part envokes some sort of memory whether it be from everyone going mad to 'Helicopter' so 'So Here We Are' being the soundtrack for Autumn/Winter. Words can hardly describe how much I love this album and I sincerely hope they don't split up, although that is looking more and more likely. 'Intimacy' was an amazing record and considering it was so far from their original sound it was astonishing, but it lacked that certain je ne c'est quoi taht this had in abundance. As it is Winter time it is only right that i show you 'So Here We Are'.

01| At The Drive-In - Relationship Of Command

http://progshine.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/at_the_drive-in-relationship_of_command.jpg

Favourite Tracks :: Sleepwalk Capsules, Arcarsenal, Pattern Against User, One Armed Scissor, Invalid Litter Dept., Cosmonaut, Mannequin Republic

So it comes to my favourite album of the decade, and it comes from the first year of the decade. At The Drive-In are an amazing band, the earlier works while sounding rougher than this were awesome and it's predecessor In/Casino/Out very nearly matches it in quality. 'Relationship Of Command' just oozes confidence and shows a band at a height of their creativity, I don't think there is a weak track on the album and that is including the bonus tracks. A truly astonishing piece of work with such furious vocals and awesome everythign else that none of the bands that formed out of their split have ever or I will ever be able to match. It is truly awesome and my words don't do it justice, here's 'Invalid Litter Dept.'.

Of your Top 20 albums I only own: :(

11 | Radiohead - In Rainbows

06 | Radiohead - Kid A

04 | Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

But can I say what a brilliant read this has been, it shows you love and have a passion for the music you like ... even if I dislike some of the acts you love.
