Oh I definatly I agree with your top 4 though. As much as I adore Beyonce, even I cant say Ring The Alarm is anything other than a really bad song.

200 Kelis: Bossy (2006)

Rumoured to be a response to a 50 Cent track, 'Bossy' by Kelis was a surprisingly catchy and strong effort on her part.

199 Incubus: Drive (2001)

'Drive' finally saw this California band reach commerical success, a great mellow-acoustic driven song.

198 Chantal Kreviazuk: Before You (2000)

One of the biggest AC artists on Canadian radio in the late 90's, singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk continued to pump out the hits as 'Before You' become her most critically-acclaimed hit to date.

197 Modest Mouse: Float On (2004)

Similar to Franz Ferdinand's 'Take Me Out', Modest Mouse's 'Float On' was a type of song I had never heard on radio before. Being tipped to having a big breakthrough after this massive single, looks like it went to the Scottish rockers instead.

196 Daft Punk: One More Time (2000)

A big, feel-good dance song from Daft Punk that stayed in my head for most of 2000.

199 Incubus: Drive (2001)

197 Modest Mouse: Float On (2004)

196 Daft Punk: One More Time (2000)

Sugababes: About You Now (2007) Most overrated song of them.

The Calling: Wherever You Will Go (2001)

U2: Elevation (2001)

Yeah Yeah Yeahs: Heads Will Roll (2009)

200 Kelis: Bossy (2006) - good song, but not her best.

195 Switchfoot: Meant To Live (2004)

Soundtrack song to 2004's Spiderman 2, Switchfoot released this superhero-esque song, which was miles better than the Chad Kroeger/Josey Scott 'Hero' for the first Spiderman movie.

194 Good Charlotte: I Don't Want to Be in Love (Dance Floor Anthem) (2007)

After the first two singles failed to take off from Good Morning Revival, third single 'Dance Floor Anthem' ended up igniting interest in the band again and becoming one of their biggest hits.

Never a big fan of their music, this is by far their best single to date.

193 Jakalope: Pretty Life (2004)

Jakalope's debut single, 'Pretty Life', was heavily talked about due to Trent Reznor's involvement with the band.

An underground hit and and a great video to go with it, many thought they would be in the forefront of the Canadian rock scene.

Unfortunately, all subsequent singles haven't lived up to the hype of the band.

192 Gwen Stefani: Rich Girl (2004)

Second single to Gwen's L.A.M.B. album, Eve returns the favour after Gwen was featured on her 2001 hit 'Let Me BlowYa Mind'.

Sampling 'Fiddler On The Roof', this song had all the right elements for radio to finally get on board and save her album in North America after the first single was shunned.

191 Red Hot Chili Peppers: Californication (2000)

From the 1999 album of the same title, Californication is song about the demise of Western society and culture.

The music video was notabe for its 3D video concept, taking bits from current games at the take.

190 Britney Spears: Piece Of Me (2008)

Despite her personal life crisis, Britney was continuing to pump out the hits on her 2007 Blackout album.

'Piece of Me' is one her best songs that both casual music buyers and fans alike seem to agree.

189 Sum 41: Pieces (2005)

Sum 41's first mid-tempo single had radio written all over it. Despite not becoming the hit it should have, the song remains their most ambitious effort to branch out into other audiences.

188 Moby: Porcelain (2000)

'Porcelain' was the song that broke Moby into the mainstream in North America while solidifying his base in the UK. Coming off the huge 1999 'Play' album, it was a song that brought electronic music back on TV and radio after such a long absence.

187 Alphabeat: Boyfriend (2008)

Becoming the 2nd biggest Danish act (behind Aqua), Alphabeat's 'Boyfriend' is a straight-up pop song that I had on repeat. Both the original and re-worked version for the UK release are my favourite tracks from their debut album.

186 Cassie: Me & U (2006)

Yet another Puff Daddy/P. Diddy/Diddy/whateverthef***yournameisthishour protege, Cassies' 'Me & U' is a R&B song that I still listen to today. A killer beat and catchy lyrics, more R&B artists need to learn from this to properly execute a song that isn't too repetitive and tolerable to listeners.

185 The Counting Crows: Accidentally In Love (2004)

Lead song from the 2004 Shrek 2 soundtrack, 'Accidentally In Love' became The Counting Crows' biggest hit in nearly a decade.

After all these years, the song is still a fun pop/rock song that can't deny.

184 Faith Hill: The Way You Love Me (2000)

Country-pop crossover, Faith Hill, had another huge hit with 'The Way You Love Me' in 2000. Me being such a sucker for country-pop, this is my favourite Faith Hill track.

183 Robyn: Cobrastyle (2008)

Robyn's cover of Teddybears' 'Cobrastyle', has a great beat that I absolutely love. Robyn did much of her TV promotion in the US with this song even though it wasn't formerly the proper single at the time.

182 Stone Sour: Through Glass (2007)

Alternative rockers Stone Sour had a cross-over smash with 'Through Glass'. Just like it was a slow burner on the charts, I intially didn't like the song and brushed it off as being another generic, dramatic emo-like song. But the more I heard the song, the more I loved the lyrics...

181 Robbie Williams: Feel (2002)

Robbie's last attempt to break North America was 2002's 'Feel' from his album Escapology. Becoming a minor hit, this has always been my favourite single from him this decade with a video I think is his best to date.

Unfortunately radio has never been receptive to his music here, despite being the best-selling male artist of the past 10 years.

195 Switchfoot: Meant To Live (2004)

194 Good Charlotte: I Don't Want to Be in Love (Dance Floor Anthem) (2007)

192 Gwen Stefani: Rich Girl (2004)

191 Red Hot Chili Peppers: Californication (2000)

190 Britney Spears: Piece Of Me (2008)

189 Sum 41: Pieces (2005)

187 Alphabeat: Boyfriend (2008)

186 Cassie: Me & U (2006)

183 Robyn: Cobrastyle (2008)

182 Stone Sour: Through Glass (2007)

181 Robbie Williams: Feel (2002)

Very good so far!

180 Arctic Monkeys: Leave Before The Lights Come On (2006)

A stand alone track from the Arctic Monkeys, I've always thought this song was much superior to the over-rated 'I Bet You Look Good

On The Dancefloor' and is their best work until their most recent single, 'Cornerstone'.

179 MGMT: Time To Pretend (2008)

Debut single from MGMT, this song is a little bit new wave, psychedelic pop and just a great overall track. 'Time To Pretend' was

just the beginning for MGMT, as their debut album is filled with great gems.

178 Ashlee Simpson: La La (2004)

Not really giving much thought on her first two singles, 'La La' was a track that instantly stuck with me and I immediately loved it.

With a video directed by Joseph Khan, this song wasn't quite the hit it should have been but it nonetheless is by far her best song.

177 Kasabian: Fire (2009)

'Fire' is the first song to introduce me to Kasabian in 2009, and I was shocked that I hadn't heard of this band's music prior.

'Fire' ended up being Kasbian's highest charting and selling single to date.

176 Finger Eleven: One Thing (2003)

'One Thing' was a break out song for Finger Eleven back in 2003. Slow to receive radioplay, the song become a smash after building up momentum and helped to commericalize Finger Eleven's music. 'One Thing' still remains a mainstay for many formats all these years afterwards.

I really like some of Kelis' tracks, but there are a few that just make me want to :puke: (i.e. Milkshake).

Love Rich girl, expect to see Gwen again!

175 Nelly Furtado: Say It Right (2007)

Nelly Furtado's ability to switch gears from up-tempos to ballads to middle of the road song is simply amazing. 'Say It Right' continued her string of massive hits from her Loose album, which each single topping the charts in different parts of the world, with this one reaching #1 in the US.

174 Lady GaGa: Poker Face (2009)

The most talked about artist of 2009, Lady GaGa silenced people who expected her 'Just Dance' single to be a fluke hit from her. Just an all around perfect produced pop track, 'Poker Face' went to #1 in most countries and has become her signature song.

173 Lily Allen: Littlest Things (2007)

Lily Allen's most personal song at the time, 'Littlest Things' was the first single that brought me into Allen's realm of music. While the best song from her Alright, Still album, even more impressive is that there would be even better Lily music still to come by 2009.

172 Kings Of Leon: Sex On Fire (2008)

Fortunately for those in North America, 'Sex On Fire' became only alternative/rock hit and therefore hasn't been on a continuous rotation.

A song of lyrical nonsense, 'Sex On Fire' is rock anthem that is so good it's hard not to like. Kings of Leon are going to have one hell of a time trying to out-do the amazing Only By The Night on their next album.

171 No Doubt: Running (2003)

Last single from their 2001 comeback album, Rock Steady, 'Running' has a simplistic harmony that is pleasing to the ears. The music video also features a retrospective of the members of No Doubt throughout the years.

180 Arctic Monkeys: Leave Before The Lights Come On (2006)

179 MGMT: Time To Pretend (2008)

178 Ashlee Simpson: La La (2004)

177 Kasabian: Fire (2009)

173 Lily Allen: Littlest Things (2007)

172 Kings Of Leon: Sex On Fire (2008)

171 No Doubt: Running (2003)

Amazing songs there!

170 Nine Inch Nails: Only (2005)

Second single from their long-awaited 2005 album, With Teeth, 'Only' was another rock/alternative smash for Nine Inch Nails. After such a long break between studio albums, any new material from the industrial rockers was going to loved by the fans.

169 Aerosmith: Jaded (2001)

Aerosmith's last Top 40 hit, 'Jaded' was great follow-up to the massive 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing'. Using a similar formula they've had since the early 90's, it was great to have these rockers continue to make worthy music, spanning four decades.

168 Sam Roberts: Don't Walk Away Eileen (2003)

Having the biggest selling independent album in Canada, Sam Roberts helped to break boundaries for many artists in Canada who lacked the funds

for recording and promoting their music. 'Don't Walk Away Eileen' was one of the many incredible tracks from the album, We Were Born In A Flame.

167 P!nk: Sober (2008)

P!nk's most emotional driven song and a nice change from the annoying 'So What', 'Sober' is the type of track that shows that P!nk can be actually be taken seriously as an artist and has more to offer than just her party anthems.

166 White Lies: Death (2009)

While not a hit after two releases, 'Death' didn't resonante with mainstream rock. In the same vein of Franz Ferdinand and Editors, White Lies they surprised many when their album debuted at #1 in the UK.

Here's to hoping we can expect even more great music when their sophomore album drops in later 2010.

165 Franz Ferdinand: Do You Want To (2005)

First single from their 2005 album, Franz Ferdinand made sure they weren't going to fall victim to the sophomore curse. 'Do You Want To' is easily the band's most upbeat, pop-oriented song that wasn't as well liked by fans, but was still a good record overall.

164 k-os: Man I Used To Be (2005)

Canadian rapper, k-os wrote this song about Michael Jackson's personal life, which the vocals also sound eerily similar to that of the King of Pop's himself. 'Man I Used To Be' continued k-os' mainstream success in 2005.

163 Jet: Are You Gonna Be My Girl (2003)

Australian band, Jet, made a splash with their very familiar 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl' in 2003. Sounding like that of Iggy Pop's 'Lust For Love', there was no escaping this song on radio, the iPod commericals and whatever other media it was being pushed on, I was singing the riff in my head for most of 2003.

162 James Blunt: Wiseman (2006)

One of the few not caught-up during the Back To Bedlam-era, 'Wiseman' is the only James Blunt track I've heard that doesn't make me want to press mute. Maybe because it wasn't as huge as the overplayed and overhyped 'Beautiful', this song remains by far my favourite from him.

161 Gorillaz: DARE (2005)

Gorillaz's Demon Days is full of great tracks that could've pulled many singles. 'DARE' finally brought Gorillaz to the top of the UK single charts, and it remains one of their many songs that I continue to have in my music rotation.
