THE Sugababes last night issued an apology to fans after the Christmas lights switch-on event was cancelled after the crushing horror.

Heidi Range said she and the girls were “really disappointed” the gig had been pulled, but understood there was no alternative after the terror scenes.

The band had been due to perform live for the first time with their new line-up, with Eurovision contestant Jade Ewen replacing original band member Keisha Buchanan.

In other news, there are again reports of Siobhan, X Factor finalist Rachel Adedeji joining up, but this time with Keisha instead of Mutya. This seems very unlikely, but that’s exactly what everybody thought about Jade joining the group. Legally, Rachel can’t sign any contract for a few months after the show, so if it is true, it certainly won’t be happening at the moment.

The thing about Rachel, she may not be able to sign any contracts but that doesn't mean she can't work on material with them.
I doubt they would sign Rachel on though, why get someone who although they sing well, just don't connect with the public :?
