November 17, 200915 yr the first 3 albums did very well and his 4th did reasonably well, i can see his greatest hits definitly achieving platnum status.
November 17, 200915 yr the first 3 albums did very well and his 4th did reasonably well, i can see his greatest hits definitly achieving platnum status. The new one, the Hits is really good! :cheer: I wasn't keen on him releasing this but now I've got it I realise how good it is to have the singles all on one album, they just flow and remind you of how much brilliant stuff he's done. Also love the two extra tracks Hopes and Fears and If It Hadn't Been For Love, one upbeat the other a loverly ballad.
November 17, 200915 yr I don't think his GHs will sell too much, he hasn't exactly promoted much, but I suppose if you are not on X Factor then it's not considered good promo.
November 17, 200915 yr From an email I've received looks like tv promo is planned towards the end & after his tour ends. Know what you mean though d22ghj, it won't be on the scale of a slot on X Factor. He's done a big radio tour, giving many acoustic performances, where he so excels. The Hits may not be a big seller but watching him on stage on Monday night in Manchester & seeing the standing ovation he received froom the crowd leaves no doubt in my mind he'll be singing for years to come. Loving the meomories the Hits album & tour brings but like Will really excited about next summer's dance/pop project, his 6th album. :yahoo: To think the critics only gave him 6 months. :P
November 17, 200915 yr He looked to have shifted quite a few in my HMV yesterday, but I'm not expecting too much as there's so many big studio albums out and X-Factor releases, love the new ballad "If It Hadn't Been For Love" and the backing music is very "Twin Peaks" sounding.
