But a true measure is that all four of Will's singles were non charity. Whilst two of Girls Aloud's were for charity; as was Gareth Gates' Spirit In The Sky & the Hero X-Factor Finalist single, which if you include then you have to move Will Young's total up to 5 as he appeared and sung a lead vocal line on the Band Aid 20 single.
November 18, 200916 yr I'm honestly bored of people saying Leona is flopping. The only reason JLS sold so much is that they have FIVE different versions of the one album out, and we all know what pathetic teenage girls are like with their high disposable incomes. It really boggles me why girls fancy JLS aswell when three of the members are beyond ugly, but that is another topic. Anyway, Leona only sold so much first time around as Bleeding Love was amazing and that the X Factor had never produced real talent before. I'm willing to bet Leona will have the highest second album first week sales for a reality star? Do you really believe that young girls would have enough money to buy all FOUR different slipcovers (there are four members & not five).. They could only be bought from HMV for 9 pounds each..& pre-ordered online.. People are blaming the slipcovers for getting them such high sales etc.. but I really dont think thats the case.. its more that they have a large fanbase (Judging by various events.. Birmingham christmas lights etc..).. I agree some fans might be slightly mad and buy all 4 but that really wouldnt be the case for everyone.. Underneath the slipcover is the album with all four of them on it.. so why would someone want to buy that version of the album seperately with no slipcover when you get it anyway :S
November 18, 200916 yr Clearly the low 50,000 sales come from her dwindling fanbase and the unfortunate folk who ordered the album before any of the songs were leaked. Just like last week, her sales will fall throughout the week, and Robbie or JLS will be #1 on Sunday. I doubt they'll even bother with a third single, as Outta My Head will likely flop and not make the top 10. love RyanJL's comment on this earlier The dwindling UK fanbase that is still bigger than all but a few 'of the moment' UK only acts (JLS, Cheryl) and of course Robbie (a national institution by now !!) November 18, 200916 yr Author Those top 4 album sales are pretty huge, Queen could easily take #2 by the end of the week. Jason DeRulo could take #2, X Factor Finalists have definitely got it in the bag. Apparently Jason Derulo is only available on downloads.
