It will probably leave the top 10 next week but sales all round are high so even if they stay mid top 20 they should get another 50,000 sales next week.

As the DVD is now in its third week at number 1 in the music dvd charts (and still holding up well in the DVD chart as a whole) I'm assuming it has well gone past the 300,000 mark. Doubt they'll manage 10 weeks at number 1 as BW did ... due to the time of year - but it has certainly sold more!

TT now have the top three music dvd's ever I believe ... and I'm assuming FTR is also in the top 10 if not five!

I would say sales are well past 300,000, it wont stay 10 wks number 1 as its sold in far bigger volumes for its forst 3 weeks, then agian i wuldnt rule out it staying number 1 right through x mas
agree with you FTF

I'm pleased it now has 14 votes on the poll ... but I fear that is as high as it gets on Buzzjack. Most BJ users are just too square to appreciate a good show!

Very true and many are totally anti take that also.

I'm hoping that when the show is 'shown' on ITV this Saturday, that people will realise huge chunks are missing and some may go out and buy the DVD ... if they do ... then TT will surely have the Xmas Number 1 DVD.

By the way .... I heard HUAL today on the radio (it was local radio ... I've not heard it on Radio 1 yet).

The tv showing will definitly boost sales as people will know it aint the full show, its a good marketing tool for the dvd and i definitly think they have a very strong chance of an x mas number 1. The showing of the concert will prob add some extra sales to albums aswell and maybe older dvds also.

Oh dear, some people have no brains to complain about that: http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R25PC7AX27M4TB . I wonder if it is the same person who is whinning on Digital Spy about the ITV showing the tour or is the one complaining about Mark Owen  . Or the one complaining about Mark Owen are the ultra Gary fans from the ultra GBO TTO  .

As for buying DVD vs CD: i bought myself the CD and not the DVD. Somehow is not my show....and bought the CD for the joy of Abbey Road Session as i am not keen to see but more to hear them on my mp3 player.

Well what an idiot! Doesn't she/he realise ... that after commercial breaks ... they'll only be showing half the show? They showed Beautiful World on TV shortly after that was released. Some people just like to carp at everything. As for the extras on ITV2 - surely its going to be the iTunes pass joined together for one show - which I'm extremely grateful for as I want it on dvd - but can't transfer it from my iTunes library.

On the live CD to be honest ... I'm not overly fond of it ... not when its been as butchered as it has. You only get a true impression from the DVD where ALL the songs are heard. I think What Is Love sounds 'meh' until you see it on the DVD with them putting on the clown paint and then going into the medley. I have to say as well ... apart from Hold Up A Light ... I tend to fast forward to the old songs - Pray, Never Forget and Relight My Fire. It doesn't have the same impact without seeing it as well. And I love the DVD of the Abbey Road sessions for all the little interviews in between ... Mark and Gary are really funny ... and there's also the BeeGees version of Rule The World.

If the person watches the show they will realise its promo only and they will only see half the show or less, the dvd has a whole lot more to offer.

The album is still number 10 intodays update if it stays top 10 it has a great chance of selling around 100,000, either way now the album should be platnum this sunday.

I'm glad to hear the cd and dvd are doing well in sales.....I haven't seen it here in the US where I've looked for it....

I don't think you'll be able to get it anywhere in the States Biggie! Apart from Back For Good back in the 90's ... neither Take That nor Robbie have ever troubled the American market (I don't think either ever will). Most American fans I know end up getting their goods off Amazon (imported).

If I can somehow get my DVD copied ... I'd send you a copy ... but I think we have different 'regions'.

Edit ... you should be able to see most of it on youtube though (in segments) - I know the quality isn't too good ... after a while they seem to 'stretch' and go out of synch ... but its better than nothing.

How new of a dvd player do you have, Norma? I know most dvd players these days are 'region free'.....you might also be able to rip the dvd to your computer, then burn a new dvd.....I know of people doing such a thing with cds, in an effort to create their own cd, with certain songs for their own use....in fact, someone who is an infrequent member of the Robbie forum did a similar thing, and sent me that cd....
I'm so excited to see it again on ITV tonight lol, I was gonna watch the DVD again but once I saw the advert I figured I'd just wait a week. And that amazon user really is an idiot, they show cut down versions of pretty much all big-name concerts on TV either before or after the DVD release. I feel bad for him because butchered TV showings are never as good as the full thing-serves him right though!

I'm trying out a recipe for mince pies (fed up of buying them now ... they're all the same) and I'm looking forward to sitting down and relaxing in front of the TV at 6.30 - don't forget the Take That Behind The Scenes on ITV2 at 8pm.

I'm saving my own DVD to watch on Christmas Day after the Christmas pud!
