On June 30th's VSpot Top 20 Countdown, host Matt Pinfield announced that lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has written 12 new songs for the follow-up album to 2005's PCD. :D

The PCD album has reached a new peak on the

uk album charts at no.7 this week from last weeks 23 :)

Cant wait for this :D And nicoles solo stuff :D
Ooooo can't wait :cheer: Hope it's even better than PCD
So if Nicole wrote them does that mean she's going to be on the next album? :o

must be, she hasn't left, let's just hope she lets the others sing a bit though :P

But I thought she was only drafted in for one album?

I think she'll stay - considering the HUAAAGE success she's had with PCD.

Totally agree!

But I thought she was only drafted in for one album?

hmm... well she is probaly still in the pussycat dolls, but doing solo to

I hope she is still in the group :o and this isn't for pcd's second album but nicoles

Nicole won't go solo AND stay with PCD that just won't work for obvious reasons. Was it ever confirmed she was part of the pussycat dolls or was it just a rumour because I dont remember anything official ever being said about it.

It looks likes she's staying a part of PCD for now. The songs need to be opened up to some of the other girls (namely Melody who has a better voice than Nicole), it will certainly make their music sound different to album #1.

Is the PCD album any good, or just the singles?

It's brilliant  Although they are releasing all the wrong songs to make then look like some sort of chavv group.

Example, i detested dontcha when it first came out. They looked like a one hit wonder who made crappy RnB songs. But when stickwitu out, it's amazing how they went from chavvy to sexy but slick solo singers.

Thats when i brought the album, and my whole view changed of them.

Not every single track is like dontcha.

Tracks such as Flirt, Tainted Love, Right Now & Bite The Dust are by far some of the best songs on the album

But it's just the single release choices that make the album look c**p

I think so far theyve picked the strongest songs on the album, but they happen to be the chavvy ones

yeah, thats praticly my point :P
