March 17, 200619 yr Was 'Angels' the song you thought would win? I'm so glad it didn't though; I have always disliked it. I thought some of that year's million-sellers would have done better. Good on Cher.
March 17, 200619 yr Author Yes I honestly thought that Robbie's Angels would walk it. Before the voting starts I try & work out what the Top3 voted songs will be. In 1997 I got it spot on, while in 1996 - the Spice Girls 2Become1 just missed out on me correctly predicting the Top3 but this year I thought the Top3 would be: 1. Robbie's Angels 2. Cher 3. Aerosmith But the voting has been very tight & the Cardigans & Green Day's performance justified their selection.
March 19, 200619 yr EXCELLENT top 3! In terms of chart longevity, My Favourite Game is actually The Cardigans biggest hit: The Cardigans- My Favourite Game {14}-19-15-29-26-27-26-33-39-42-53-56-53-57-47-57-66-74->18 weeks (Courtesy of Polyhex)
