Posted July 3, 200619 yr June 29 Hi everyone! I want to keep you all updated on what I've been doing and hopefully clear up any rumours that you may have been written about me. So firstly Brian, Mum and everyone in my new team says Hi! Last month I had a ball listening to all the adventures that happened each day as part of Soccer Aid - the competitive spirit and watching the atmosphere was amazing and what a turn out for the big match! Brian played alongside such amazing people like Ben Johnson and Maradona (which I may add Brian did a 1-2 with). I really felt for Brian when he hurt himself and hopefully next year we will all cheer him on to kick a goal! I'm loving all the World Cup excitement and have really become a big soccer fan. The Socceroos really did us proud! And yes I am starting to write songs for my next album, (very exciting!) which will be out sometime next year. I am currently in Los Angeles writing with my old friend Vince Pizzinga and am heading to London next week. I've also just recorded a duet with a very famous crooner for his next album that you will be hearing about soon. I am also going to Japan in July, as my album is being released over there and I have a track in a Japanese movie, so I will be sure to let you all know how the trip goes when I get back. Well, until next time, look after yourself and your loved ones... Love & Light Delta xxx PS. Go the Swannies this weekend!!! It took us 4 days to realise it was actually there, hahaha :D !!!!! Who's Crooner, or whats a crooner??? Cya, Kev B)

July 3, 200619 yr i just went on to michael buble's site. i dont think it is gonna be him coz his album is out now. but i found this out! maybe delta is on the album and singing with tony bennett, who ever he is lol Michael will be sharing a duet with none other than the legendary Tony Bennett on his 18 track album titled "Duets- An American Classic" that is to be released September 26th. Tony will be singing with a very impressive and eclectic list of performers on the Duets album including Sting, Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Bono, and The Dixie Chicks... So be sure to stay posted, and to check out the album soon!

July 3, 200619 yr note delta has been in New York, Los Angeles and London http://www.tonybennett.net/ 5.11.06 In tribute to Tony Bennett's 80th birthday (August 3, 2006), SONYBMG will release a duets CD in honor of this milestone, to be in stores on September 26th. An impressive roster of vocalists joined Tony in the recording studio earlier this year to record duet versions of the songs most associated with Bennett's repertoire. Among the list of guest duet artists are: Barbra Streisand, Bono, Elton John, John Legend, the Dixie Chicks, James Taylor, k.d. lang, Juanes, Elvis Costello, Tim McGraw and Sting. Each artist performed live with Tony in studios in New York, Los Angeles and London and for many of these artists this "face to face" approach was a departure from their standard method of studio recording. Phil Ramone, who worked with Tony on his Playin' With My Friends and Bennett on Holiday CDs, is the producer for this project as well.
July 3, 200619 yr Thanks, I didn't even notice the diary part! I hope it's Michael Buble, Dad HATES him, so I'd be able to annoy him by playing the duet (Dad always calls him 'Mick Bubble')
July 3, 200619 yr I hope its somebody good that she's duetted with ... I don't really like Micheal Buble and yea all these old singers that could be who she has sung with is very off putting!! Listen to me!! :P I just want it to be something I can enjoy and with an artist I like!! Cool about her going to Japan and one of her songs being in a movie :D Wonder if its one of her new ones or from the previous albums?!! Anyways its good she has finally posted :) Kirsty xx
July 3, 200619 yr Click here for track listing for Tony Bennett's "Duets" album. No Delta listed. Perhaps an Australia only bonus track. Who knows?????
July 3, 200619 yr Author Yeah ok Rob, i'll post the Diary whenever Delta writes in it..... It sounded like it was only going to be on the other persons album(the duet) and not Delta's...?? Yeah it was very brian brian brian:/!!!

July 4, 200619 yr Click here for track listing for Tony Bennett's "Duets" album. No Delta listed. Perhaps an Australia only bonus track. Who knows????? hmmmm i dont know. he is the only one i can think of. maybe he has only just concidered delta (through columbia) and will add her to the album. it makes sence. she said for his album, so it wont be on hers and his is a duet album... she said she only just recorded the track so i dont know, maybe they are adding it before they manufacture the albums for release in september (i think that is when it is released). we need to come up with a list of people it could be!

July 4, 200619 yr Nat King Cole? someone died last year, and we had to find 'Unforgettable' to play it at the funeral. We didn't realise it had clapping at the end of it!
July 4, 200619 yr Ooooh! Yay :cheer: The duet is "coming soon" and I'd say it's an act onm Columbia, so we won't have long to wait, I just hope it ain't jazz as I've a feeling it may be! And good on her going to Japan, really hope it's a new song on the soundtrack, but I can't imagine it will be! Does anyone know what film it is? Very exciting!
