Posted November 30, 200915 yr Last night the Children In Need single knocked the X Factor charity single off the top spot, which has me thinking, has this ever happened before? Have we ever had 2 charity singles in the top 2 before (or even the top 40? ... Is I Got Soul still in the top 40 for 3?). Was it a chart first yesterday? Thought I'd ask you guys, since many of you seem to know every chart record since the 1950s.
November 30, 200915 yr Tony Christie knocked McFly off No1 The Proclaimers Ft Brian Potter & Andy Pipkin knocked Sugababes vs Girls Aloud off No1
November 30, 200915 yr Steve Brookstein's winner's song knocked Band Aid 20 off number one and the proceeds from that went to the tsunami. Actually, if Ronan Keating and Yusuf was at #3 that week then that would have made three charity singles in the top three as that was for Band Aid as well. Can't remember whether it was at #3 that week though. Edited November 30, 200915 yr by Peter30
