I dont mean to come across bitchy here but... I really disagree with that, so you think every comment to be positive? as Scott said, this is a discussion forum, not a love-in, i'm not syaing let's all argue but everyone has the right to express their opinon.

Boring thread:

"This movie was great!"

"GOMG JACOB AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

"I wish I had Robert Pattison in my pants"

"One of the films of the year imo"

Interesting thread:

"This movie was great because..."

"I disagree with you because..."

it's different in the chart forum because of the loon factor that makes members personally attack each other due to them thinking Sugababes are better than Girls Aloud or vice versa, in the movie forum there are far less users, and it is for discussion, not loads of people raving about a movie, people discussing a movie, and being able to discuss a movie everyones opinon should be allowed.

Not every comment, but I think if it's a thread about a certain artist/movie, that it should maybe be about 70% positive, 30% negative.

I do agree that we may need a bit of argument (don't think that even makes sense) to keep it interesting, and if you've just been to see a movie and don't like it, it's ok to go on the thread and say what you thought, whether it be good or bad, and then if you thought bad, to continue going on the thread to reply to comments that are in reply to your original comment. Just as long as it doesn't get too out of hand, or you go on a thread which you already know you hate the topic it's about, and your just hating for the fun of it.

i didnt say we need a bit of arguement, we need a bit of DISCUSSION. there's a difference. it shouldnt be about 70% positive 30% negative, it should be whatever percent of people who think pos/neg about a film. If people are hating for the fun of it, which i dont really see happens, if it does it's more people just arguing their point far, but if it does "get too out of hand" that's why we have mods.

But even the "boring thread" that you used as an example could be considered discussion

Yeah, but I don't really think a thread (apart from Artist Bashing, which I suppose is meant for negative comments) should have more negative than positive.

if more people think a film is $h!t that their is people thinking it's good then a thread would be lieing to the world if it was more positive than negative.

That's true, it's just that I wouldn't like to see a thread with so much negativity

I think the point is, is that we know some people don't like it and won't like it but the same things are said over and over.

Let's face it, if you didn't like Twilight and you didn't like New Moon, well the chances are you won't like Eclipse much either. But does every Twilight thread need to have the same discussion?

Just HOW MANY films can they make out of such a crap storyline? "He's a vampire, I love him. No, we mustn't be together. *insert fight scene with other vampire/creature*. f*** it, let's just be together. <3 "

I don't really agree, but if you really want to know, there's four books, but they are thinking of splitting the last one into two movies, so to answer your question, four or five films. This one being the third.

omg the poster looks amazing!!!! i cant wait for this film :)

Is this the 3rd movie? I'm losing track of these Twilight movies, they seem to be throwing one out every 5-6 months or so.

I read "The Host" by the same author, imo it has a way better storyline than Twilight. I think she's working on a sequel....hope it comes out soon.

Although that said I haven't read Twilight, it's kinda hard to read something when you've seen the tv show/film first :/

I seen the first film before I read the books, but the books are FAR superior imo than both the 2 films so far. Although I'm hoping this is the best film version so far!

Bella

becomes a vampire in the 3rd or 4th book? I'm thinking it's the 4th one....

Its official the last book Breaking Dawn will be split into 2 movies, it will contend with The Hobbit if they decide to release Breaking Dawn around Xmas period.

I've seen the first movie I wasn't keen on it, for some reason I prefer the books, New Moon was a bit of a dive for the franchise, and I must admit the book is not that good either, Eclipse is actually better than New Moon.

I agree Mikey, re: books I prefer Eclipse to New Moon.

No surprise they are splitting Breaking Dawn.

One thing I don't like about the films.....is that they have a really cheap look to them I think anyway

Like it's a home video :/

:w00t:

I didn't really like the "New Moon" book at first, but when I read it, I was Team Edward. I've since switched teams.

I'm thinking we won't see Breaking Dawn part 1 until at least Summer 2011 - I heard somewhere that they don't even start filming until at least September
