it's good of her to give it away free, I guess she's not at all bothered about the charts/making money, she just wants to represent Finland!

 I can see where you're coming from - my main grammar related English annoyance at the moment is from A1

Norway iTunes (and the single sleeve) has it listed as 'Don't Wanna Loose You Again' which makes no sense, in other places it's called 'Don't Want To Lose You Again' but I believe it is actually 'Don't Wanna Lose You Again' - confirmed by A1 on Twitter...

'wanna' looks so unprofessional though, I'd prefer 'want to'

True, but what they actually sing is "wanna" so it makes sense for it to be called that.

I would be very happy with either Nina Lassander or Kuunkuiskaajat, but that's not likely to happen! Everything else failed to impress.

Nina's incredibly attractive :o shame she died her hair blonde :P

edit: that photo appears to be five years old actually  she sports a more medieval look these days...

her makeup's a bit overdone but I guess the same could be said about practically everyone in the public eye

The 3 songs through to the superfinal are:

Nina Lassander – Cider Hill

Eläkeläiset – Hulluna humpasta

Kuunkuiskaajat – Työlki ellää

Cider Hill doesn't have a chance...it's between the other two. Kuunkuiskaajat is sort of being promoted among the fans as an "anti-vote" to Elakelaiset so I'd say they've still got a chance.

My two faves are still there!! Come on Finland, don't be foolish and send Eläkeläiset :(
Nina would do well for Finland I think! shame I'm almost certain she'll finish 3rd in this :(
Kuunkuiskaajat – Työlki ellää won! well done to them, 2nd was very impressive for Nina, I thought she'd finish 4th or 5th - surprised Amadeus didn't make the final 3 (even though I wasn't at all a fan of it)

I can't call how this will do in ESC at all, I imagine we won't be seeing Finland in the final...bizarre song, I don't know which countries would vote for this? I can't even see Scandinavia taking to it wildly

shame they didn't go with Nina, that's my 2nd favourite NF song of 2010 so far, behind A1

It's Ishtar territory, so I agree that it probably won't make the final. I really like it though, but then I was completely in love with O Julissi in 2008 as you'll probably remember, so that's no surprise

I do remember, and I loved O Julissi too, but I'm struggling to get into this :( hopefully it will grow...

I listened to it earlier, and it seems so so much longer than 3 minutes.

Whatever you say about Hulluna humpasta at least it isn't boring...

Hulluna Humpasta didn't win :w00t:
Nice enough song, but will struggle to qualify for the final tbh...
I like this, but it doesn't have a hope in hell of qualifying :( I wanted Heli Kajo to do it tbh, still haven't heard Cider Hill, but sooooo glad is not Humppa Humppasta :cheer:

"The super final", 30 January:

1. Kuunkuiskaajat "Työlki ellää", 48 139 votes

2. Nina Lassander "Cider Hill", 43 282 votes

3. Eläkeläiset "Hulluna humpasta", 23 120 votes

The final, 30 January:

1. Eläkeläiset "Hulluna humpasta", 20 051 votes

2. Kuunkuiskaajat "Työlki ellää", 18 333 votes

3. Nina Lassander "Cider Hill", 17 312 votes

4. Sister Twister "Love at the first sight", 15 377 votes

5. Amadeus "Anastacia", 12 250 votes

6. Heli Kajo "Annankadun kulmassa", 11 443 votes

7. Linn "Fatal moment", 7 135 votes

8. Pentti Hietanen "Il mondo è quì", 6 671 votes

9. Maria Lund "Sydän ymmärtää", 6 663 votes

10. Antti Kleemola "Sun puolella", 3 907 votes

What surprised me? Well that humpasta song was over 20,000 votes behind 2nd place in the super-final :o Even though it won when voting for all 10 songs. Sister Twister came above two of the fan favourites, Amadeus & Heli.

And I was also gonna say "and the super-final songs also came in the top 3 when voting for all 10 songs", before realising they had to be, since the top 3 went through to the super-final :kink:

As we all know, October 1st is the first day possible ESC entries for the next year can be made available to the public, and once again, possible Finnish entries will be made available to listen to on October 1st :w00t: Not too long to wait, then :)
